Thank you Claire for all of your wonderful tutorials I have made so many of your project and referred back to your instructional tutorials all the time I wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year
Oh, these are sooo pretty, Clare! I think that I'll sort through my stash for some Christmas's colours, and make a few to decorate my living room! In the summer, these will look lovely hanging from the lower branches of trees in my garden, too! The sky's the limit as to colour choices, too, though the ICE yarn you used really is gorgeous! I used to buy it a lot when I first started crocheting, but graduated to cottons & bamboos when I got into Amigurumi - but seeing the yarn, again, I think I need to have a small shopping spree, using your links, of course! 😁 Thankyou for the wonderful little pattern, Clare 👍😁💖
@@CrochetwithClare I just bought one of the crochet hook sets from the link you gave, Clare :) Although I won't be buying the ICE yarn until theNew Year now, as the postal charges from the US to the UK made the price of the yarn doubled, unfortunately, - plus the particular colour you used didn't seem to be there for some reason :/ But I looked through my stash, and actually found two skeins of an ICE wool tweed yarn that I'll be using, plus a lovely Red Heart Super Saver in Fall, which I'm going to make your decorations in :) I might attach some little bells to them, so that they'll have a more Christmassy look to them - I'll show you some pics once I've done them :) Thanks once again for the lovely pattern, Clare :)
Super pretty yarn and I do love the textured edge you showed us how to achieve Clare..oh my goodness my stitch markers hide from me ALL the time! Pesty little things😀
Oooh i LOVE Ice yarn... perfect for your spinner Clare I'm very OCD with all my crochet items.... they sit on a table next to me and NO-ONE is allowed to touch them under punishment of death lol
We have a lot of rain in the UK 🇬🇧, is there anything that you can get to use on the yarn to make it waterproof? Silly question I know but just a thought
you can always try a waterproofing spray that is for shoes to see if that works. otherwise I would bring them in during rain or put them in a sheltered place
For me, unfortunately its the actual stitch markers on the working needles. I am going around looking for the marker and its not on the needles. Not only that its nowhere in sight. I use the locking ones you linked but its something about the way I knit, perhaps too vigorously? But also darning needles, scissors and working DP needle I need to continue on. I am constantly digging under my cat, are you sitting on my pen? I also do this with lots of other things around the house. LOL but maddening but glad to know others have similar issues. For me I think its short term memory stuff and then I get worked up and don't see it right in front of me. At 79 such nasty misplaced things happen often.
My crochet hooks fall down the side on my lazy boy chair. I have a plastic container on my end table where I keep my crochet stuff. I have misplace stitch markers that I think the man I live with vacuums them up. 😡
@@CrochetwithClare well now I have to ask what brand, b/c it doesn't look like say, Red Heart favorite rainbow stripes, or Red Heart Unforgettable, or....hmm, well idk, maybe it could be. Oh wait, never mind, I just found out by comments, it's Ice Yarn rainbow 🌈. How lovely 😍
@@CrochetwithClare: ty. I didn't have time to watch the video this time around unfortunately. I've been unable to do much of anything really due to a pretty serious injury about 8 or 9 days ago. But anyway, it's such a wonderful colorway you chose. 👍
Pretty! I see my carport hanging with these!
Me too, but in Florida lots of moisture, won't it get mildew in any climate though? How to handle that issue I wonder.
I love the wind spinner I am also from New South Wales
@kristesheridan1738 thank you! I hope you aren't getting too much rain like us
I bought some rainbow yarn the other day, just for the fun of it, withhout having a project in mind - now here the project is, perfect, thank you!
That is excellent! Your wind spinner is going to be beautiful.
I am making these for Christmas gifts. They are fun and great scrape busters. Thanks Clare.
These are great because I woke up so fast. Thank you so much for watching my video and happy crochet 🧶

Thank you so much Claire 💓 for your amazing videos! I have learned much from you! 🌷

i think those are both great ideas

I love making these . I made one with a little sunflowers to dangle from the end just had to use really light weight yarn.
Hi Tracie, that sounds so pretty 🌻

Hello, yes, ice yarn is excellent so many different types and colours!
I’m gonna use a red white and blue yarn Vera gated
This is a perfect last minute Christmas gift idea! Beautiful!!!
I am using a variegated and then I thought for the other color a solid
Great idea, thanks for watching my video

@@CrochetwithClare I have watched from the start, and you always inspire me! I am going to make this to go in a Christmas garden gift basket .

The husbands always steal the scissors! Nice and colorful spinner. What is the fairy doll hanging near the spinner made of?
Thank you Mary, I purchased the fairy from Facebook.

A yarned spinner would be rather heavier than normal spinners... does it truly twirl in any wind?
yes it twirls in the wind
Am i the only one whose wind spinners reverse in the middle and don't spin. I used 4 weight yarn and a 5.5 mm hook.
hello, no one has ever mentioned it
I think I will give it to a little 8-year-old girl to decorate her pony tail.
My crochet hooks fall down the side on my lazy boy chair. I have a plastic container on my end table where I keep my crochet stuff. I have misplace stitch markers that I think the man I live with vacuums them up. 😡
Oh no!
Great idea to have the plastic container though.
Great to have a guy to vacuum ... easier to replace the stitch markers than such a guy!!! LOL
WOW what is that colorway?

Why do you just copy everything others have done
Hello Beverley
All my crochet pattern are my original designs and I do not appreciate you accusing me of copying other people.
