AL West has to be Seager, but Murphy might low key be the best option for this time of year, with catcher being the hardest spot to fill (especially on a no money spent team)
Idk the Haniger I got on my random pack and he’s a monster and his speed has not been an issue at all. Also the Luis Robert is still insane even though he mostly hits against righty pitchers bc he’s fast and his fielding is fine My outfield is Robert,acuna, and haniger and it’s so good
I got blessed with Seager out of my no sell AL West and took Mantle as my preorder so I'll probably go with Trout, but it really comes down to what other cards I got and what cards are selling for. If I get like Acuna or Mullins out of my other no sells and am all set in the OF then I might just take who ever is selling for the most. Too many moving pieces. I do think Trouts quirks generally make him the easy pick if I do intend on keeping. I think you may have downplayed Acuna. Obviously the ConR is an eye sore but his quirks and swing always play. That and I feel like his speed makes up for the reactions and OF shields really don't seem to play out in my experience. Feels like speed and reaction are king and shield only comes into play on 50/50 balls, but if the speed and reactions are high enough you aren't getting as many 50/50 balls.
I got Tucker out of my random pack and he’s been raking for me. Probably will take Seager out of the choice and decide if he will start over MLB21 Tatis for me. Love the vids man keep up the great work!

Hey Cbrev, it's my first year playing diamond dynasty, you mentioned with some player once they get upgraded their hitting or defense can go gold or diamond, what determines that and is there any difference in their in game performance?
I got Mile Trout yesterday so when I get the choice pack ima go with Seager! I’m hitting well with gold Michael Young but I got a lot out of 99 Post Season Seager on 21 and the swing is so smooth! So far I got the first three so far, so I got Mike Trout Cody Bellinger Ronald Acuña so there’s my outfield so far lol
I pulled Sean Murphy and Carson Kelly in my first two packs and this was after I finished the conquest nation of baseball map to get my Piazza…FAAAAAAAAAAAAACK

It's so important not to look at these divisions individually, you have to look at it in context and build a plan around that. You can only play 3 OFs... Don't take Trout + Bellinger + Mullins + Acuña + Buxton... They may arguably the best in each division, but you can't play them all. Same with middle infielders or 1B/3B. You can only play two of them at any given time. Remember also that Piazza and Rushman are available from the Conquest maps and Prospect collection, so I definitely would take any of the catchers. IMO this is the best combination of picks in context: Trout + Webb + Buxton + Williams + Chapman + Jazz. If you already got one of those in your unsellable pack, I'd say these are the best 2nd choices: Seager + Bellinger + Clasé + Reynolds + Mullins + Acuña
Love this but I feel like Haniger is amazing liek better than the tucker but that’s just my opinion though I’m also a nms player so I haven’t really got to use the tucker
When you have cards with drastic splits vs R or L handed pitchers you play them in favorable matchups. Like Votto for example smashes righties but is bad against lefties. If your facing a Lefty you bench him for a better bat.

If I were you I'd keep him. That's whay I'm doing with the Trout I pulled. Not only will you need him in the long run. But he'll hold his value for a while and is great in game
I hadn't noticed that Bellinger is RF with LF/1B secondary. Really weird considering he's been their primary CF for two years and is expected to play CF this year (since they have Mookie)

Game seems like it was made by EA lol. You got a chance to get cards instead of picking. The showdown doesn’t even repeat anymore I did it twice and realized it was a one time thing. Just seems like they cut out so much stuff, but maybe will get better.

I would go for cover guys just because they will keep going up and collection prices will go down as time goes on
