Another NEW TRAIL - Biking the under construction "Culebra Tributary" - San Antonio Creek Trails

I was driving down Grissom Road in Northwest San Antonio when I noticed another new trail being built. I couldn't find any information about it on the city of San Antonio's greenway trails page (www.sanantonio..., but I did a little more digging and came across a bid document that talked about a trail from Cathedral Rock Park to Tezel road. The map accompanying the bid document matched the path this new trail took.
I rode this trail 3 times over the course of a week or so and each time there was more and more done. They're working very quickly on this one, and I suspect it will be mostly completed by the new year.
The most exciting part for me is that the northern end of this trail will terminate a mile from my house, and the southern end will hook into the larger Leon Creek trail system via Cathedral Rock Park. This means I can easily bike from my house to a trailhead and access the entire Leon Creek trail!
