Question, why didn’t you have to fight Boar Ganon? I’m pretty new to this stuff
@@piplupisgood it's basically a glorified credits sequence, not much skill required and not part of the main game. There are technical reasons that justify the community leaving it out, but they're basically excuses to not have to do it every run because it's kinda boring. Sometimes runs do include it, but since you are forced to use the bow of light it wouldn't be relevant in a challenge involving held weapons

Lemme get this straight, No one could defeat Ganon over a 100 year period but it took Link 15 hours and 46 minutes from waking up to kill him with a stick...
Well, technically it’s more because hyrule time passes faster so it’s almost 39.5 days. But yes, it is still less than 100 years.
Ikr I really expected to find a bunch of corpses of people that had tried to kill ganon but apparently no one even tried in 100 years

Not only you don’t, you can literally go up in air and shoot the beam in air anyways, it has enough time

Gratz dude! Seriously though, even getting past knowing the setups to make it possible, it definitely takes patience to beat ganon with a weak weapon, and managing a glitch to refresh durability too.

Fun fact, this run now only requires you to kill a single Lynel with riding damage, as you can also get the forest dwellers bow and you can overload the menu with 2 three shot bows now
I remember I had wanted to try out what fighting Ganon felt like (I had finished the divine beasts) and I decided that as a joke I would enter the sanctum and fight clam gan but what I didn’t know was that if you complete all the divine beasts you would start the fight with ganon on half health, I beat him way faster than expected and was surprised

The reason why the menu overloading didn't work outside ganon is that some places are much easier to overload than others. Apparently hyrule castle is one of the hardest places to overload.

I know it’s super late and like 2 years later but the way that fire damage works is it doesn’t actually hurt your durability but instead there’s a 60 second timer and when it ends it burns up. So if you were to have a brand new stick have it on fire for 59 seconds and then put it out it would still be new

18:30 So here is how to do the glitch. 1: Sell some hearts. 2: Save game. 3: Buy back hearts. 4: Do what he did in the shrine. 5: Load save. If you did it right, it should say, in the loading screen, the amount of hearts you would have after aelling, but when done saving, you should have your hearts back. 6: Go to the shrine, buy back hearts, even though you already did.
4:45 to 5:25 is the best part in any video I have watched in a long time. Your streams seem like a lot of fun.

Hey crow just a heads up for future reference when menu overloading when you draw the bow and pause to drop it equip the next bow then unpause, it will put the next bow in hand already drawn, it's slightly faster than drawing the bow pausing dropping it unpause draw next bow pause drop, etc

I got so sidetracked playing in the sandbox world, I never got around to doing the castle. Eventually I realized that the world is actually better off with Ganon around, because his blood moon thingy provides a bottomless source of energy and resources. Kill Ganon, and the world eventually runs into an energy crisis. So instead, I just made a nice place to live and treated the blood moon respawn points as factories. #Sustainability #TrueEnding
@@ToyKeeper isn't the only reason why Ganon is stuck at hyrule castle because Zelda is holding him back, once she runs out of energy the whole world is doomed, I'd say an energy crisis is preferable

Fun fact, over a year later: setting weapons on fire doesn't do durability damage. They simply just burn up after a minute. This is true for bows and shields as well. Arrows don't burn up, they just burn out, and it only takes ten seconds. Of course, torches stay lit forever unless put out by Link or water.

I need to correct u on something , weapons dont waste durra when they on fire, they got a timer which if it runs to 0 the weapon breaks if its at 1 second left and u turn the fire off the burn timer resets

If you keep repeating "we are not a cult" for long enough, eventually the phrase will lose its meaning, the pronunciation will decay, and when it's written out again it'll say something nearly unrecognizable. And then a cult may adopt it as a term for something (a magic spell, the "real actual" name of the endtimes or something else, they can get quite creative). Fun stuff to think about.

Hey! My dad just completed the Champions Ballad DLC and now has the motorcycle thing. The boss was quite difficult as I could tell by his wincing face lol
For people who are wondering:
Dark beast Gannon doesn't (usually) count for runs like these since he's pretty much just a glorified qte cutscene, hence why most people ignore him
The Master Sword doesn't have infinite durability with the glitch, it gives the weapon 40 instead
He didn't use the Axe, the axe was still sparkling meaning it hasn't taken damage
From what I remember from the vod he reloaded after using bombs in combat. I could be wrong and am remembering something from another stream, though.

I would’ve liked to see more of the durability resets during the calamity Ganon fight. But this was still fun.
i would recommend getting mipha and urbosa, as well as durability duping with a Durability Up Biggoron's Sword since it has the highest durability in the game
