@Pedro how's your progress so far? I can pass every other Demo account with whomever following their rules but I need my reliability higher before that much money is on the line.
Traded sick and I'm trying to not let that bad results get me down.
If I'm ever unsure. Sick, or whatever. I'll demo trade instead of real trade if I insist on trading.
When I'm a lot better at this it may not matter, but right now a flu for example, can really effect my jusgement.

Worst traders are people who have the same routine over and over at home or at work and are not forced to adapt or constantly learn new things.
Also I would not call her intelligent and conscientious trader (maybe as a person). She has 30% winrate on R:RR 2.89 (on average) while trading price action? Price action where you respect structures and enter breakouts or reversals? That is quite weak statistics. April was tought month but still i dont understand what is she doing. She does not close partials or how can se have such low numbers.

Forex isn’t a get rich quick scheme. You have to practice good money and risk management to survive in the long run.
And truly, that’s what FTMO mainly hinged on. Traders needs to work on lot sizing, use indicators for volatility and to gauge the choppiness of the market..

As a beginner I took a more practical step to learn and invest, I began through the guidance of a financial consultant Dan Raziel, he helped moved all my assets to more lucrative avenues. You should probably get a reliable brokerage

some good advice in this interview, im currently doing the challenge, and i've been putting far more pressure on myself than my personal account. had a bad couple of days, but still in profit overall, but ive been beating myself up over it worrying i wont hit the target. i think i really needed to hear this today. well done holly. stay safe everyone

@@tamfx2138 I did not unfortunately. I did 3 attempts and each time I met all requirements except the profit target by a few %. On my third attempt, I was going through a change in job, and my focus was not in the right place, and I failed the max loss as I wasn't paying attention.
It was all a lesson learnt. Settled in my new job and heavily focused on trading around my work.
I recently joined the Guerilla community and am currently re taking the challenge with far more confidence this time👌
@@SMTFX oh darn it, well hopefully this time you can pass knowing how it all works and you can focus. I’m doing to do the challenge but I fear too not passing and having to keep taking it. Can tell me a little bit of how the profit target works? Any suggestions or advice for me?
@@tamfx2138 so for the profit target, you need to make 10%.
My advice would be:
Watch all the videos on FTMOs website to make sure you're familiar with exactly what they expect.
Do the trial a few times to get used to how it works.
Make sure you follow your trading plan.
Avoid FOMO trades.
Journal your trades. This has been my biggest help for me.
If fear of failing the challenge is due to the cost of the challenge, then maybe make sure that if you happen to fail the challenge, then the cost of the challenge isn't a big loss for you.
Remember if you pass the other targets except the profit target, you can repeat the challenge for free. And you can keep doing that.
Each time I didn't pass, I treated it as a lesson and learnt what I could do to improve.

Yes, the interviews are the best! How'd it go? I have passed and failed on demo accounts where I followed the rules. I haven't had too much draw down ever, but not enough profit.

5:00 what you said was right , don't look at anyones trades , instead just focus on your trades (i have a good strategy once but trying to learn more from different people actually corrupted my strategy)

When you have a 100k account - there is no pressure to trade particularly well the account size forgives poor trading skill.
A lot of traders need to know you’re a good trader, you just can’t manage small amount of money while trading some can manage large amounts of money while some can manage only small amount. Try to find out that within yourself. Ik a friend that grow small accounts from 20 usd to 600 usd, but can’t grow past that 😂 it’s weird but it’s facts
Mental block, a belief that they can't go past that amount
That's what happens when you worry about the money and not pips.
I can tell! Im good at trading big accounts, did lots of simulations controlling risk and all. But I had no patience growing small accounts. Now I got to work on my psychology and I can do whatever. Getting really good at it and doing well on my challenge with 80% win rate actually, risking 0.5% of the account only. Also sticking to only 3 pairs I trade now, the ones I’m good at it
He needs to open a new account with more money, then set it up to copy the smaller 20 USD account with the matching percentage of risk. This way he isn't distracted by the big numbers and can focus on trading. Take out $580 every time he hits $600 and continue trading.

@@youngrickey4927 it’s simple but backtesting it sometimes you will end up losing month or breakeven month as well as winning months so it’s all about your decisions, it doesn’t give you lots of entries, to master it will definitely take time bro i’m still on it, even though I did Falcon strategy it’s similar as they’re all trend traders

Hi I am new to FX trading, been doing internet marketing for about 8 years now and so many problems within the industry the biggest one is cash flow! Buy with you guys and FX trading I get backed, 8 weeks then I am going to be applying for a funded account. I can't wait!, Thank you guys.
If she's trading live now, she needs to reduce risk per trade to a maximum of around 0.2% 0.4% otherwise that account could go below 10% drawdown within a couple of days with such a high daily drawdown. Just my opinion. Hope someone tells her because she deserves to keep the account however, I'm sure anyone who violates the risk management rules would get another account again. Hope this helps someone who's reading. Never give up :)
I am trying to place 2-3 trades a day but the second or third trade it says "insufficient funds" as it has reached the maximum margin allowed by Oanda. What can I do?

Ohh I didn’t know that, so if you keep extra money in the account, meaning bast profits, it can work or extent the range of my max loss limit… very nice, it works as a buffer from getting kicked out from the earned FTMO account. Interesting, learned a lot from this interview

I have a question regarding restrictions of 2 minutes before and after news trading. If I opened an active trade for example 2 hours before the news event, will I have to close my trade before the news occurs? Or can I leave it open since I opened the trade long before the news happened?

You can leave it open. I don't like leaving trades open through market closes. Often my profits are erased. Last time the gap from markets closing and opening went back in my favor but that was lucky.

#FTMO. I am interested however I read some of the comments below and I noticed that you cannot hold positions over the weekend. My style of trading is more like a swing trader/trend following approach which means that I hold positions from a few days up to a few weeks or even 1 month. If you have to close your positions before the weekend then it will conflict my trade idea...I may be wrong but I think that trading with FTMO is more suited for daytraders and scalper-strategies. I hope you can clarify this. Thank you
