Dan, do you remember last October when a couple of women from Ohio had to cancel their reservation at your restaurant because we took the wrong trail on a mountain! So we completely understand your pain! But thankfully you were so kind and allowed us to make new reservations and it was my birthday. It's still my favorite birthday ❤ Thank you for showing us more of this beautiful country!

I’m also Christian, but recently did a temple stay at a beautiful temple and had a lovely experience. While I don’t believe in Buddhism, I think there’s a lot of beauty in it and a lot we can all learn from it.
I couldn’t help but laugh at your hiking escapade (though very glad nothing happened with that snake…I’d have freaked out by myself) because something similar happened to me. A few months ago I went for a hike at 월류봉 near my town based on a friend’s recommendation. They told me 40 (intense) minutes up, 20 minutes down. They didn’t tell me that was only the first peak; 월류봉 has 5, with some very steep parts. Of course I kept going, not knowing my friend was only talking about one peak. I loved it (I really enjoy hiking and nature) but was laughing a lot because it was a lot more than I’d signed up for, feeling more certain as I moved on that my friend was bonkers about the time…though I did have hiking boots on and water and snacks, so it was fine. Highly recommend in the cooler months! (I went mid-November.)

Thanks for taking us along. The views were all wonderful especially your mom's house and the water, minus the snakes. I would have exit the mountain quickly also. But I would have had a stick , water and a snack. Because snacks are life lol and water is important, which is why whatever I wear would need pockets to keep my hands free. I'm used to running in nature and also climbing, but in Korea the parks are not to be underestimated. We were also high and I was scared because my knee was injured. Above all, going down is often worse than going up. And then snakes.😮 You were really in the mountains. Choose the planets you visit more carefully in the future. If you do this again, please don't go alone anymore.🙏

When I saw this vlog I was more afraid of the steep slopes than the snake! I think it was quite a dangerous adventure!!!

We appreciate your self-awareness of the lack of preparation to go up the longer mountain route. Each year, we have so many people who just decided to continue climbing, despite all the warning signs and eventually kept climbing to their demise. It's okay to turn back when things are not working!

Tell your Mom her garden is lovely! My favorite perfume is Coco too. There is a version of it that has oil which is my favorite last much longer, smells better and "might" be less expensive. I have problems with perfumes sometimes and don't have the same reaction to this kind.

You struggling on the mountain reminds me of my first hike when I moved to Hawaii lol Before I knew it I was doing illegal hikes (which I don't recommend anymore. those were my hardcore yolo days) But I didn't have to worry about snakes!! If you keep at it eventually it becomes fun! Especially if you can reach breathtaking views at the top! It's worth the struggle. Those are some of my best memories.

What an adventure you had, Danny! 😆 I`m the same, I like nature, as long as it`s like the garden at your Mom`s house surrounded by nature or the park (9:01), mostly flat and free of poisonous animals, or when I can drive near the top to enjoy an amazing view. LOL! 😜😂 Steep hiking, even with proper equipment, is def not my thing. Watching you hiking, I was like: Don`t go further alone, Danny! Danny, don`t do it!!! Thank God you safely came back down. 🙌😅

So interesting to see the fantastic finished design of your Mum s house since the construction phase and in contrast to the local town.
The hike to the mountain really brought home the real height and nature of the hike complete with snake. Are they toxic or just larger so to be avoided?
I enjoy your honest reports showing the lessons learnt also, eg lack of foot ware, water ,flies etc that had a important message to other travellers.

The moment you said gifts for my mom it felt so overwhelming ♥️ i love people who love their parents the way i love my parents! And then you just checked her lipstick and said she never tells me if it's finished you know this is a mom thing my mom does that too all asian moms are like this ♥️ you checked her lip shade then i thought yes this is what being Asian kid is all about it just brought tears to my eyes reminded me of myself how i treat my mom how i am really close to her like a friend.
The hangouts with your mom and screaming for snake and remembering that moms are always right yes they are 😅 hiking is not my cup of tea either whenever i go to countrysides to travel my ammu (mom) packs me mosquito repellents.
Loved the whole video and laughed out loud when you said new cool ajussi in the town (hiking look) 😂😂 who wouldn't love an ajussi being this cool XD btw thanks for always being this descriptive about contents, those cool temples i didnt know that many people were Christian there i thought the country to have mostly Buddhist people since Korea, Japan and China got a lot temples there. (Sorry if my words sound offensive)
😂 I enjoyed every moment of you climbing that steep mountain! It worse than Stone Mountain here in Stone Mountain, GA. I would have tried to ski down the mountain breaking my neck to get away from the snake. 😅 On another note, the serenity that surrounds your mother's beautiful home is awesome. Thanks Danny.🎉
