You see 0:18 to 0:30? Not even Mon-el, James, Winn or Alex at pointblank range could make Kara smile the way Lena can. And if I didn't know better, I'd say the Kryptonian is on the path of discovering a new superpower: Seduction Vision (complete with smile). Lena reciprocating that only proves this new power to be legit.

Very sweet.
I confess, to having massive ambivalence to showing (S4 finale or) S5 scenes-- no matter how happy they make look on the surface --where Lena is *playing* Kara (especially the whole "Lunch w/ Lena, I'll fly to Europe and pick up a few things" ep. But also where Lena is receiving Lex's diaries, and where Lena faked being attacked, so Supergirl could save her).
Something I think Kara&Lena are going to have to process in their reconciliation, is just HOW GOOD an actress Lena is (way better than Kara!). It would be understandable if Kara might still have some doubts...

Yeah, I mostly agree with you and that's why I almost didn't use moments from season 5 in this edit. But I'm absolutely sure that in the next season they will bring their friendship back and we'll get plenty of sincere and soft scenes again:)

Is a convo that never happened but that we deserved to see. It's implied that they worked through that, but they should have had at least 1 convo. I suspect that if season 5 hadn't berm cut short by covid and if Melissa hadn't gone on maternity leave then we would have had that convo
