This is interesting to me. Because someone can be a vegan for health reasons. You should look up vegan youtubers quitting and listening to their experiences. In the end though, it's your body and your choice. You should be allowed to make your body suffer. What I hate the most is vegans & vegetarians that force pets, ESPECIALLY CATS, to stop eating meat. Cats are carnivores, they exclusively eat meat in the wild. Dogs are omnivores but primarily get nutrients from meat, livers, etc. in the wild. At least dogs can get some amount of nutrients from the food. Poor vegan cats die in a few years at most.
Dogs, like most mammals are omnivores. A dog will eat chocolate, but that's straight up Toxic to their bodies. There is a reason dogs like other predator type animals eat meat. And that's because it's more efficient way of getting nutrients into their body. Cows eat tons of grass and take ages to digest the stuff, just to get the small amount of nutrition available into their body. Dogs obviously have smaller digestive tracks, so nutrition dense foods will do them better. A dog could eat only vegetables to live. If the veggies were able to meet the dogs needs.

Animals trust their instincts and senses. the dog smells the food before and then decides which one to eat first. cooked meat smells more than cooked vegetables and it's in their genetics to eat the one with the most calories first obviously, which was meat in most cases thousands of years ago. I'm vegan and I also think that literal wolf descendants should eat meat (not only, but also). You just have to think a little bit to understand why the dog did what it did. Either way, abuse or neglect, I whole heartedly agree that anyone putting their ideologies before their pets' health (or if they don't understand how to care for an animal) should have their pets taken away or they just straight up shouldn't own them in the first place.

The wolve evolved to hunt meat, primarily, so their body evolved for a meat diet. And your children? Do they get a choice?
@@magoo4452 Why did you assume they had children?
This is interesting to me. Because someone can be a vegan for health reasons. Or even if it's just a choice, in order to allow a child to eat meat, their parents would have to make a separate meal for them. And that might not be financially feasible.
Similarly, what if a parent has a gluten allergy and has a child who doesn't? Should they buy gluten free food and regular food?
The only way I would see this as a lifestyle being forced on a child is if they didn't allow that child to consume meat in any situation. Meaning during school lunches, when out with friends, or at a restaurant.
The best part is when he stops eating for a second, looks over at the vegetables, and deliberately chooses again to go to the meat instead.

@Godslayer9000 ____ i dont think the argument "do what your dog wants" is helping here. Understandable that they probably want to eat meat, but in the end they are animals that we bred into pets just for our amusement. Who knows if the dog is happy living in a house instead of the wild? You should look up vegan youtubers quitting and listening to their experiences.
In the end though, it's your body and your choice. You should be allowed to make your body suffer. What I hate the most is vegans & vegetarians that force pets, ESPECIALLY CATS, to stop eating meat. Exactly. People that say that this is not abuse should experience not being able to eat what they want!
@@enricogomez3380 Not what they want, but need.
@@enricogomez3380 I meant dogs not just want meat, they need meat. I have seen another guy on RUclips who feed his dogs vegetable and they became very ill.
Mmmm there's a fine line between abuse and neglect but I think this is more neglect than abuse. Abuse would imply that she is doing it with the conscious knowledge that it would hurt the animal but I think this is a case where this woman is terribly uneducated and doesn't realise it is harming them. Either way, abuse or neglect, I whole heartedly agree that anyone putting their ideologies before their pets' health (or if they don't understand how to care for an animal) should have their pets taken away or they just straight up shouldn't own them in the first place.
@@Tuihoof I think she's basically putting her beliefs into her dog
There are plenty of rabbits in shelters in need of good homes but instead she had to buy (what looks like a pure bred) carnivore and force it to be herbivorous.
That was probably the best curb RUclips joke 😂
Depriving yourself of meat is one thing. But depriving a dog of meat is another.
Like probably most people do when feeding their dog pets balanced dog food? That would also be depriving a dog of meat.
@@Folviik but that food is made of meat and has all the nutrients of meat, hence why you just called it balanced, nobody calls oreos ballanced
It's like how my cat is naturally supposed to eat meat but she can eat her pet food instead. Plus for whatever reason when she eats real meat, she gets sick and I have to clean up a bunch of vomit
The issue is vegetables don't have the same nutrients of meat, if you were to give a dog pellets and the main ingredients were vegetables and you called it dog food, it would be just as bad as straight up giving it vegetables
That's why everyone's mad at that idiot feeding her dog something it naturally can't gain nutrients from, she might as well be slowly killing it
If you don't believe me, take humans eating pasta for example, humans are omnivores, biologically we are evolved to eat meat and plants but we can use plants and create pasta and get nutrients from it even though pasta doesn't grow on trees or in the ground. But say we only got nutrients from meat and we couldn't eat plants, what use would pasta be?
That moment you stub your toe I didn't say that giving vegetables is equal to giving pet food, but the comment I replied was saying that you souldn't deprive a dog from meat. And pet food is not made of meat, it has only its nutrients.
@@Folviik I understand what you are saying my bad for misunderstanding but still, the pet food is made to replicate meat so while I think it isn't good to deprive an animal of meat, it's not bad or impossible, I can't give my cat any form of meat or I spend the rest of the day cleaning vomit, and she is healthy bubbly and full of energy (too much energy -_-) That part about pet food not being made with meat tho, I cant personally verify and it's not like you gave me any real hard evidence so I'll go and personally verify that my self. Anyway dispite who's factually correct here, I'm just glad you're not one of those crazy people that run around giving pets veggies, you really had me worried there for a second :)
Elias Fiori : pet food is absolutely made from meat you halfwit. Do you even know what a rendering plant is? DOG FOOD IS MADE FROM MEAT.
Woman: My dog is vegetarian.
Dog: Who decided that?
Is? Haha, nope, it's 'my dog is *forcefully* a vegetarian'

Dog: And who decided that?
Science if you knew anything dogs are omnivores.
@@forever-fm1rw Omnivores, thats the key word. They evolved to consume both, NOT JUST ONE, BUD.
You can feed your dog vegetables, my dogs eat potatoes and carrots as a snack. But they also need their meat, their physiology is different from ours and some foods that are great for us, will kill them.
The wolve evolved to hunt meat, primarily, so their body evolved for a meat diet. Restricting them to solely vegetables can be done, sure! but it takes a LOT of research and in the end you're doing it for yourself, not the dog. The dog will live its 10 years on a typical diet, and probably only 10 on a vegetable diet (or less/more, we don't have the research).
But why risk it? Just feed the dog what its body evolved to eat and we're done.
@@sacr3 this is a dumb argument because you can get everything you need from plants you acknowledge this thus proving yourself wrong, you need to understand the definition of omnivore means you can do both it doesn't mean you need both. Like for example most animals get their protein and other stuff from plants you can get protein from peanut butter it's the same thing as a dog eating meat and there's other ways to supplement other things like all the vitamins that are in meat you can easily give your dog without having to give them meat, the simple truth is meat is only on this planet for primal food options not for long-term society food options.
Our dog loves his veggies. He normally has them after our evening meal as a treat, but he has normal dog food as his main food. Gets really upset if we forget to give him any.
