I have driven this same route many times myself and have always wanted to record it, but for lack of a free hand couldn't. Most people could never describe the experience. You did a great job.
I've driven this a couple dozen times.. beautiful on a blue-sky, sunny day. Always took my time when raining, which is rare. Both cities are fantastic vacation destinations.
@@peters9240 There's no autostrada with an exit for each coastal town. Pretty much from Naples south along the coast is a high winding road with a spectacular view. But, no, you can't be in a hurry, and also can't obstruct the traffic flow.. There's probably a size and weight vehicle restriction, but tour busses are common.. so maybe not...
@@peters9240 Notice the solid white line on most of this drive. No passing. So, at times if the lead car is poking along, there is a very long stream of cars.
I did this drive on a bus from Sorrento a couple of days ago. The hairpin bends are scary as are the other vehicles parked and others coming the opposite way!!
Can I ask if the road is steep? We are here with our motorhome and have a 50cc scooter to get about. We'd love to do this road, but with the two of us on it, the bike struggles to get up steep hills and we just get slower and slower. On the flat we bomb along OK. We'd need to travel the road in both directions, so a long downhill might be nice on the way, but we have to then make our way up on the return trip. What do you think?

Yes but many times the parking lots are full so i reccomend going in scooter or park somewhere safe with a car
