Thank you for quietly counting, from an autistic teen who wasnt given that love and understanding it is so heart warming to see someone understand how small details can be so important. Just counting with a soft voice helped her calm down enough to show you what she needed. You're doing great!
Mikko is such a beautiful and precious child; and Mom you and dad are awesome. Your love for her will make a world of difference. The amount of dedication is awesome. I'm praying for Mikko's complete healing, and for the entire family. ❤
You have such a gentle way with your daughter. It's so heartwarming to see, knowing how some of autistic friends were treated by their parents. I really appreciate your vids.
Thank you for making sure she is being comfortable with doing hair and pulling out the one strand to help her. We all are sending love to you and mikko.
If that little piece of hair gives her that much comfort. I’d have one out on both side. Another style would to have them out at the side burn area. Unless she just feels comfortable with the ones up to. She is too adorable and has made such progress. Sending love and light to this beautiful family.
I love you Mikko God bless your family and you always it breaks my heart to see you like this but it's such a relief the way your mommy handles it with such love and care and a lot compassion🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for making these videos. Sometimes when I am feeling down I come back and watch your videos. Mikko is so cute. I love your families videos ❤❤❤❤
Mamma, you are a ROCK STAR! 🎉 And she is such a beautiful baby girl. Much love, respect, and prayers for you. Your hard work might not feel rewarding day to day, but the work you are putting in now will yield invaluable results down the line. I have seen it over and over. It's so taxing - but keep on keeping on. You are doing great. She is worth it, and you are precious.
Bless her. You really are a wonderful mother. I have 2 boys who are on the spectrum and I have got a way to go as a parent so I understand how difficult it is but you my dear are absolutely smashing it. Love from London, England ❤
I love how calm you are with her, how you treat her... you are an example!!!! Respect🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Also your daughter is beautiful! I love her hair, very pretty☺️
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us. ❤ Mikko is darling, and it is such a privilege to have a chance to support you as she progresses. You are an incredible role model for all parents everywhere! 🥰
You inspired me and helped me come to terms with with some things. I love this. I need to practice patience my lil one seems to cry out of frustration not being able to communicate.
Hello me (11,f) have a sister (6,f) who was diagnosed with ADNP and your videos are so inspiring , she is non verbal as well and is getting along very well with her speaking but also pull hair , hits , kicks , and pinches poeple when she is overwhelmed or stressed and she is not allowed to be with other children at school because of injuries if that unless they have parents permission and your kid and my sister are almost IDENTICAL in how they act and speak
I found you today my son is autistic snd nonverbal too and i show your daughter to my wife and we are sure she is the sister of our son exactly the same :) god bless you and enjoy the stressless moments :)
You are a beautiful mom. I see pictures of myself when I was younger, I was always crying. My mother did not comfort me like you help your daughter. I guess crying is my stimming with other things as well. We now know, I cry when I have to transition from one thing to another. For me, I am not sad or angry it’s just confusing and overwhelming even though I know I am safe. I’m learning to accept that part of who I am.
I remember when my daughter, now 15, was just a bit younger than her. She was having a sensory melt down in the store. People began looking at me like, "Aren't you gonna do something?" I politely stepped out of line to console her as you did here. I love how you are so patient with her, and I know how it can become frustrated at times.. 😔 You seem to be a wonderful mother.🥰 May God continue to bless you all..
I have been through the same thing as this little one even as an adult i still find it hard to calm down 😢 but things will get better 🙏💪❤ sometimes holding my stuffed pokemon pikachu and rocking helps me ..maybe a stuffed animal will helpnher as well
Good job mom , Its not easy ,but you are so strong...I definitely can relate my son is higher functioning Autistic, but I went through many of all symptoms with my son..
I no my mom had it rough especially in Trinidad 3o years ago. Just keep telling Mikko it’s gonna be ok and she’s helping make the world a better place followed by a million kisses ok. 😭
This reminds me of one of your first videos i found on Facebook. You were doing her hair, and trying it without the curl down in front. She was having none of that ❤
I use to suck my thumb and rub on something soft. I did until I was almost 30. Back then they didn't know about autism so I was just called odd because of my unusual behavior and lack of social skills.
❤❤❤ counting calms my son down to or taking him outside barefoot. I always say he needs to ground himself and get sunlight. I’m waiting to see what word he finds to communicate that back to me. Does she use any words? My son is 4.5 and he’s starting to say and repeat more and more things.
Oh, my little sweet pea. Her crying is so heart melting.
Oh Mikko please don't cry! You'll make me cry! 😭 I know you hate getting your hair done but look how pretty mommy did it and how pretty you look !😁😇🩷
Yes it is😢
👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽👸🏽❤
I just absolutely love how patient you are with her, and how you took out that one small section of hair to help her.
Thank you for quietly counting, from an autistic teen who wasnt given that love and understanding it is so heart warming to see someone understand how small details can be so important. Just counting with a soft voice helped her calm down enough to show you what she needed. You're doing great!

The way you knew exactly what to do to help her calm herself speaks volumes on how awesome of a mom you are to your children
Mikko is such a beautiful and precious child; and Mom you and dad are awesome. Your love for her will make a world of difference. The amount of dedication is awesome. I'm praying for Mikko's complete healing, and for the entire family. ❤
Amen 🙏🏽
Mikko doesn’t need to heal, there’s nothing wrong with her.
@@TooshortruthMy thoughts exactly ❤
