He is such a unique guitarist… funky strumming, chicken picking, shredding and a load of pinch harmonics in just one song!
He reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. And first time I've thought that of anyone.
I love how he transforms these songs on this tour. Saw his set at Newport. It was the most napalm hour of music ever. Can't wait for his next album. #SturgillForPresident

The Xfinity Center's sound system couldn't even handle Sturgill last night- he was on fire! Thanks for posting!
Yeah, I stood inches away from the sound system in the Pit for 8 hours in order to shoot these videos on Friday night. Surprisingly, my ear drums did not burst! LOL

I don't really understand the distribution process, Tom, but I guess RUclips has algorithms which widely distribute some videos, while leaving out others. Having filmed his entire set that night, I posted a total of 6 videos of Sturgill from this Outlaw Festival. Some of these videos have upwards of 5k views, while others are 1k or under. @@toms2324 That 2018 Outlaw Tour was epic, mostly thanks to Sturgill. We are so lucky to have been there. Heading to the 2019 Outlaw Tour next month; Willie's got The Revivalists and Phil Lesh with him. I am staying positive, but I know it won't be the same without Sturgill. Cannot wait for Sturgill to tour again!
