I just found your delightful channel short time ago & have been trying to catch up on all videos. I love your personality it comes through & it’s nice meeting your family too! Your dried beans are beautiful, if I lived close I would be shopping your fresh flowers. Just a little about me I’m 72 been married, 53 years to same man HA!HA! I have had to let my flower beds get smaller every year & it breaks my heart, I broke my back, I was lucky to be able to put it back together, will the Dr. did, no damage to spinal cord & many months in back braces I learned to walk again but it totaled my beautiful new 3 month old special order car. I was run off the road by someone that just kept going no one got the tag number. Your beans reminded me of a story, when I was around 11 my mama told me to freeze some fresh beans we got at a farmers we been shelling all afternoon 2 bushels she was tired & went bed early I took over only one problem she didn’t tell me to look for worms will sometime that fall Sunday dinner for pastor & I got to help cook my beans, heard how great they were till later at supper & the worms were practicing floating the good news none of the guest ever knew. I guess they were good because the extra proteins a little girl left in. I know this is long here’s hoping you enjoy 1 of my funny memories. Thanks

Hi Nicole, these sound like black jelly bean's you are dropping in that white dish. As my dad would have put it, "It's a Thang of Beauty!" There's no icon in my text referring to the Scarlet(purple) runner beans. So glad of your harvest. The weather is getting colder and I can now picture you in your new space germinating seeds in February, staying inside with all your new surroundings and oh thee Idea's in that mind of your's, so talented. Wishing you well...get your rest too. 😊 🍃🍂🍂🍁🍁🦃☃️🌱💐🎡🎠

I can’t begin to imagine what your part of the world is going through. The photos are so heartbreaking 💔 I’m in Lexington, KY and we didn’t get so much as a drop of rain from Ian and we haven’t had rain for weeks now. I hope Nicole picks you to receive those beautiful beans and they will help you and your garden to heal. ♥️

@@jcking6785 Oh my! You are just the sweetest person. It’s okay if I don’t get the beans! Just knowing people care is what matters. It’s been rough as a flower farmer down here. Heat, humidity, bugs, slugs, deer etc. I’m 59 and loving being a farmer, but it takes its toll after something like this. Tears have been shed for sure, but it’s okay.

Hi Nicole! I grow TONS of sage for two reasons: I love sage tea. Boil up a few leaves in water and add a little honey. Spicy honey is even better. It doesn't taste like sage, flavor is very mellow. The second reason is it helps deter pests, especially around anything in the rose family. It even helps with fungal issues like mildew and black spot. Not sure why it works, but I now plant a culinary sage near every rose bush. Third reason - when culinary sage flowers it is GORGEOUS! I dip the cut flowers in boiling water and the flowers last a week in the vase. I love watching your channel and I'm so happy for you that you bought the nursery. Best wishes, Sheila at Summer Nights Farm.
