    $450 sounds like a lot of money when you look at the specs, but you have to remmeber who this is marketed towards. This is a legit last-mile scooter that can fit in your bag (Already impressive), has more torque than some full sized starter scooters, removable battery, and priced lower than scooters like the Turboant x7, Unagi Voyager and Model One, and Fluid Mosquito, which are well known for portability.

    having removable batteries and the compact nature is what sells it for me tbh. Carrying an extra battery which can double the range is a game changer imo

    Please update your video, the final product Dynamic Scooter is shipping is a different size than the one they are advertising and the same you reviewed. I got mine on February 20, 2024. The folded size on the one they are shipping to customers is 812 mm, the one you posted here and the one on their website is the prototype model with is 675mm. I believe people should know the truth about what they will be getting. One more thing, I ordered directly from their website and ordered an extra battery which I paid for but I didn't get. I informed Dynamic Scooter of this on the day I received it and have not heard back from them as of today. They don't have a phone number nor chat, just a messaging system and an email address, I tried both but they are so far ignoring me.

      @juustinkim 5 месяцев назад +1

      I just got mine today. It's definitely bigger in person than this prototype. The handlebars don't go down all the way. jIs that what you're noticing?

    • @hitachino
      @hitachino 5 месяцев назад +3

      @@juustinkim Yes, that is correct. After I complaint to them about the specs and pictures on their website being misleading, I posted it here and at the other 2 RUclips channels they were using as promotion on their website. Now they updated the specs on their website and removed the 3 RUclips channels promoting the prototype. The one thing they haven't done yet is to update the misleading pictures. They left the pictures showing the scotter at an angle which still hides the real folded length. I am yet to hear back from them about the extra battery I paid for but that I never received.

      @@hitachino Yeah I agree. i'm still going to keep mine but it sucks that it's not as compact as i thought. good luck getting the battery.

    I live in Utah too, and not near downtown SLC, and this is tempting as a last mile ride to and from Trax to my destinations. Between living up two floors in a small apartment where wheelbase and weight reductions are appreciated, and transit being near some of my frequent trips small, light, and cheap are all big pluses. I just wish I lived closer to my grocery store, 1.5 miles on poorly maintained roads and solid tires aren't as ideal. It also seems perfect for college campuses, but doesn't really apply to me there.

      @@ElectricRevolution I have been considering this model. I am hesitant because I cannot find it on Amazon or any other sellers. Reviews would be helpful to get some other opinions. Or potential scams. Is there any return policy in the chance that the model does not meet my expectations?
      Can I get some feedback from any riders?

  • @chaxologist2961
    @chaxologist2961 4 месяца назад +2

    It would be a fabulous mega-mall/large airport exploration scooter...if they allow it that is!
    Also a perfect Segway (the self-balancing scooter) alternative!
    Perhaps great for cops or security patrolling beaches, airports or malls that require vast distances to walk on since it easily fits in cars or transportation and can be stored anywhere!
    I'd rather use a Fluid Mosquito to do the outdoor stuff you described like getting around NYC because it has much larger tires, longer range and higher battery capacity while still being ultraportable below 30 Ibs and has folding handlebars. Dynamic Model B is just too small to be an outdoor scooter beyond the malls, airports or campuses which can be dangerous in rough roads riddled with potholes.

    Another thing people need to consider when buying electric anything is who manufactured it. I’ve had friends who’s batteries died months after getting it just to find out they have to deal with a Chinese manufacturer that seemingly doesn’t exist anymore to provide support.
    They had to pay someone to rewire the battery and install a new holster and battery that’s easy accessible in the US if it happens again.

    • @kennethlau2034
      @kennethlau2034 4 месяца назад

      Is there anyway to know to charge the battery let say to 80% without exceed max to 100% to prolong the battery?

    • @luridftwgaming8983
      @luridftwgaming8983 4 месяца назад

      @@kennethlau2034 It’s a lithium ion battery so you don’t need to worry about over charging them. They’ll typically have protections against that and disable the flow of electricity automatically. For example on mine when the light turns green the flow of electricity is cut off by hardware built into the battery.
      So it’s really about getting a quality made battery. I just leave mine plugged in over night and take it off in the morning. The battery and the motor are the most important components so don’t cheap out on them. It’s also about 70% of the total cost and why they’re so expensive.
      If you’re keen on only charging it to 80% then it will take some trial and error. Just charge it for 4 hours and plug it into the bike and see where it’s at. You can plug the charger into a timer plug so it shuts off automatically and charges it to about the level you want it.

    The big question is….. can this scooter be brought onto a plane??
    Meaning…. Are the Watt hours within the limits set by the TSA?
    If the answer is YES then I’ll buy one because that would be a huge game changer!

    Too bad, it’s 5 kph too fast! Otherwise I need an insurance + AM driving license, here in Sweden everything over 20 kph counts as an scooter, not bicycle. New rules in late 2023. The motoreffect should be max 250W.
    E-scooters are more or less banned in the metro because they take too much space, however if it’s foldable it’s ok to bring on.
    I think US do have better rules for e-vehicles, especially California.

      So much overregulation for just riding a basic scooter.
