This is my personal honest opinion on this media conference. I think it has a boomerang effect because the group finally realised that they needed to have originality and specific identity. It challenge them to rise up as PILIPINO, the real Pinoy in music, in lyrics, in tune or tone or even in dance move or the way they project themselves on stage. Even their clothes kahit galing divisoria lang. Personally, I am grateful to this negative interview because it challenged the group. They become focused on their vision. They become more patriotic. They become more authentic, Pinoy. They become more solid as a group, and they stand united and glued together. Strongly bonded. See how they protect each other. I think if they started smooth, then maybe they are just ordinary group noŵ. I am an OFW, and it's absurd to see a Pinoy group singing and dancing like others. They look like idiots, no offence. But. When they started to sing, dance, they performed ànd dressed on stage with originality and with authentic PINOY taste and culture, we can claim the music itself ànd the boys. Nowadays, when we go out we're no longer called as kuya, ate, pare, or kabayan. Some people are calling us "GENTO" hahahaha. Proud of these boys. People notice of them being respectful. The word 'PO' is well known now. People are talking about the lyrics and the slang words like kill kill power. I guess ShowBT never expected this kind of questions from our very own “ filipino” journalist. And the succeeding press con interviews like DD for SB19, there was already a host who filter the questions from the media. Never again we get bad these treatment for our boys. This was the time they were starting and very green. They didn't have enough experience yet to do this interview. I don't think they're in the position then that can just walk out or rebut the interviewers. Kapag gano'n baka nasabihan na silang may attitude eh wala pa ngang napapatunayan. And even now that they very famous, they're still very respectful in their interviews. Another thing, ShowBT is a small company so wala silang pull sa media. It's unfortunate that the interviewers are probably from tabloids because no respectful journalist would ask those kind of questions. Despite of this bad interview, our boys have come a long way and have been interviewed by big international shows like Rolling Stone and MTV.
As you can see the two - Josh (being the eldest) and Pablo (being the leader) we’re doing their best to shield the rest from the questions. I read somewhere that Stell was very affected by this interview and had to fight depression and self-doubt. Ken wasn’t answering since he knew he tends to answer off the cuff and might alienate the reporters.

Until now talaga di ko pa din kaya panoorin to ng maayos. Its either mag iinit ako sa galit or maiiyak na lang ako sa inis on how they were treated sa sarili nilang presscon. They were just so polite to even keep on answering redundant questions and even the nonsensical ones. These boys looked so calm and collected all throughout the 1hr interview pero after that, they went to the backstage and cried and hugged each other for 10-15 mins just to console each other of how hurt they were. All the more reason why we, A'tin are very protective of them, we dont want people to disrespect them again when they are bringing and waving our flag all over the world. Kung saan man ang mga interviewers dyan ngayon, I hope they realize how low they were that time. They made the boys stronger, but there is no denying that they destroyed them first.

This is my personal honest opinion on this media conference. I think it has a boomerang effect because the group finally realised that they needed to have originality and specific identity. It challenge them to rise up as PILIPINO, the real Pinoy in music, in lyrics, in tune or tone or even in dance move or the way they project themselves on stage. Even their clothes kahit galing divisoria lang.
Personally, I am grateful to this negative interview because it challenged the group. They become focused on their vision. They become more patriotic. They become more authentic, Pinoy. They become more solid as a group, and they stand united and glued together. Strongly bonded. See how they protect each other. I think if they started smooth, then maybe they are just ordinary group noŵ.
I am an OFW, and it's absurd to see a Pinoy group singing and dancing like others. They look like idiots, no offence. But. When they started to sing, dance, they performed ànd dressed on stage with originality and with authentic PINOY taste and culture, we can claim the music itself ànd the boys.
Nowadays, when we go out we're no longer called as kuya, ate, pare, or kabayan. Some people are calling us "GENTO" hahahaha. Proud of these boys. People notice of them being respectful. The word 'PO' is well known now. People are talking about the lyrics and the slang words like kill kill power.
Everything happens for a reason and the group started with NEGATIVITY and the insinuation of a FAILURE, BUT it boomerang big-time because it come out with a. Resounding POSITIVITY and overwhelming SUCCESS.
The group vision is to make the Filipino music ànd artists known worldwide and what's best is asking us to raise the flag together, this group will have the support of Filipino backhome and abroad, no matter what. Mabuhay Pilipinas!

Hi. Thank you for the reaction. This video is really sentimental sa A’tin. On their next press conference, Tatang Robin never left their side, and answered the media for them as well. I guess ShowBT never expected this kind of questions from our very own “ filipino” journalist. And the succeeding press con interviews like DD for SB19, there was already a host who filter the questions from the media. Never again we get bad these treatment for our boys. Ilang beses ko na tong napanuod pero ang sakit pa din sa kalooban. Nakakaproud lang na nahandle ng sb19 professionally yun mga tanung sakanila kahit irrelevant. Yun presscon is about sa debut ng group nila sa music industry pero yun tanungan nila pang mga actor/actress. Nakakatuyo ng brain cells yun mga tanung na wala naman kinalaman sa music. Tatawagin nila mga sarili nilang journalist pero di nila alam yun mga proper questions kahit pa sa tabloid sila nagsusulat. Honestly di ako A'tin but I appreciate good music and humble people. Imagine dati pinoy ang nagccover ng mga kpop songs and dance pero ngayon sb19 na ang ginagaya ng mga idols lang nila dati. Sinong pinoy at di matutuwa dun? Nakakalungkot lang na mas appreciated pa sila ng mga foreigners kesa sa mga kapwa nila pinoy.

This was the time they were starting and very green. They didn't have enough experience yet to do this interview. I don't think they're in the position then that can just walk out or rebut the interviewers. Kapag gano'n baka nasabihan na silang may attitude eh wala pa ngang napapatunayan. And even now that they very famous, they're still very respectful in their interviews. Another thing, ShowBT is a small company so wala silang pull sa media. It's unfortunate that the interviewers are probably from tabloids because no respectful journalist would ask those kind of questions. Despite of this bad interview, our boys have come a long way and have been interviewed by big international shows like Rolling Stone and MTV.
Wala'ng experience sa interviews but they had very intelligent answers.
As you can see the two - Josh (being the eldest) and Pablo (being the leader) we’re doing their best to shield the rest from the questions. I read somewhere that Stell was very affected by this interview and had to fight depression and self-doubt. Ken wasn’t answering since he knew he tends to answer off the cuff and might alienate the reporters.
Ngayun ko lang napanood ito.. sa tingin ko itong mga reporter na ito Hindi na makakaulit... pinapababa nila ang pagiging reporter nila para silang Hindi edukado ... opinion ko lang 😁 base sa napakinggan ko.. 😐 and look what and where is SB19 now... Until now talaga di ko pa din kaya panoorin to ng maayos. Its either mag iinit ako sa galit or maiiyak na lang ako sa inis on how they were treated sa sarili nilang presscon. They were just so polite to even keep on answering redundant questions and even the nonsensical ones. These boys looked so calm and collected all throughout the 1hr interview pero after that, they went to the backstage and cried and hugged each other for 10-15 mins just to console each other of how hurt they were. All the more reason why we, A'tin are very protective of them, we dont want people to disrespect them again when they are bringing and waving our flag all over the world. Kung saan man ang mga interviewers dyan ngayon, I hope they realize how low they were that time. They made the boys stronger, but there is no denying that they destroyed them first.

I find it very admirable - yung kapita-pitagan na pagrespond ng SB19 members. Deeper and strongly rooted respect for Stell, Josh, Pablo, Ken and Justin. Very recent ko lang nadiskubre ang SB19 but I instantly admired them and after learning about their beginnings, I have become the group's fan and loving supporter.
