@@jkatt8918 Well the fake is using ice, whereas the real uses geo. So yea, seeing him using cryo is already enough for them to go: "Oh sh*t! It's the imposter", or something like that.

@@jonathanwilson5355 laylines? The cause for this event and the regisvine one as explained and found is that Dvalin power seep in the earth and leak into layline which spand the entire area where plant base monster got affect by it. Which is why other monster didnt have the same effect.
The combination of an actual Sword to Sword combat not just magic blasting and Elemental Skill Casting of Albedo is what makes this one of the best action scene if not the best in the game.And I like the fact that this cutscene basically showcases to us how Albedo fights even though its the fake one.He’s just very cool in this.
And it’s nice to see Bennett using his Elemental Burst (although not for the exact same purpose as we use it for buffing and healing and in there it’s just for melting ice)
Most of the characters in the manga and cutscenes often use abilities different from their kits so having seen something that we could recognise is definitely a plus
This! For a world with literal magic, it's nice to see that some still prefer just normal sword attacks rather than conjuring up the elements. Most I've ever seen is them infusing their weapons with their element.
Traveller vs the Abyss Herald is still the best fight in the game imo, despite being short as fuck. It has the best choreography of any Genshin fight by far.
i’m actually upset about how good this scene was, i’m gonna feel so bad for new players who miss out on this, also does everyone in genshin just fight so pretty
New players aren’t gonna Mis out on this, just gotta reach AR 20 and do the 2 quest (albedo story quest) and joels quest, I did it on my f2p account

easily the best animated fight scene so far in genshin. you could tell they are very good playing with the vibe to pop up the situation like the surrrounding suddenly darken when albedo try to attack traveler

@@bullymaguire431 since there's that much theories pointing towards there its kinda very expected and yeah, that part is quite surprising when the realization sinks in. But tbh, its not out of place either. MiHoyo did a very good job on Albedo's lore tho, i regret i didnt record the whole act 2

@@Someone-zs5xr It's not even Durin, but a seperate failed attempt of the Primordial Human Project. Albedo's monologue (Especially "Master's failed experiment in the dragon's belly") points out that it had most likely been disposed and fed to Durin

This cutscene is one of the best ones I ever seen and facing the boss was the most easiest boss I ever fought

- Real Albedo
- Impostor Albedo who steal and learn albedo alchemy notes (this guy might be the remaining of Durin)
- Wooperflower Albedo (possibly created by impostor albedo)

Failed experiment Albedo - Fakebedo
Mutated whopperflower Albedo -
Plantbedo
So in the event story, I think it went like this in real time:
1.) Realbedo was aware of the failed experiment wandering in dragonspine (Either this is actually Durin if he is somehow still alive and can change form, or Fakebedo is another entity created by Gold).
2.) Fakebedo, for some reason, was kidnapping Joel and got caught by Eula and in panic, stole Realbedo's notes to devise a plan in diverting our attention to Fakebedo's existence. Thus, Fakebedo created Plantbedo as decoy (Fakebedo has no mark on his neck and so, Plantbedo mimicked Fakebedo's appearance since Realbedo was nowhere near Plantbedo to copy).
3.) Realbedo tells us his secret to his existence and the existence of Gold's creations.
4.) Plantbedo attacked us and Realbedo explained Plantbedo's ability and behavior. (Traveller was still curious if this Plantbedo was the same one who kidnapped Joel)
5.) In the last cutscene, we see Realbedo saying if he was Fakebedo, he would do the same thing and try to replace him in order to experience the "joy" of being brought to life just like Realbedo.

Not gonna lie, this is legit the reason why Genshin needs its own Anime

I set my graphic to the lowest setting, but all the cutscene after lantern rite seems to always runs smooth with high graphic.

the time this guy appears i already know its not albedo, no one gets hit by an avalanche then say "hey lets get out of here since everyone is fine." then get more altitude in the mountain.

The stabbing scene is a kind of violence we've never seen onscreen in GI. This makes me hope for more angst in the future, and more epic scenes. I'm terrified and worried for Albedo, but I can't wait to have more of his story.

This scene is so accurate with the characters: Bennet’s AoE where everyone stands on it, Amber using charged shot, and Eula not using any of her Cryo vision because she’s meant to be a physical. Top tier!

For a long time now Childe vs the Ruin Guards and Zhongli menacingly walking forward with his shield up where my favorite cutscenes. This one takes it tho, it was stunning. :o
I remember watching this scene on my computer screen, it was as if I'm watching a movie. This has to be one of the best cut scenes, and I love that they showcased Amber's accuracy in her shots. I really hope that we have more stories like this!! And this is probably the first time I've heard the JP dub of this, the way the imposter grunted before he turned into a whopperflower really hit different, it's like he's inflicted with pain. I love all versions of it 😍

well, I'm pretty sure that in scenes like that, the people are more wary of the unknown thing the enemy is charging. Iirc, some of those things the enemy charges have a mechanism that'll make it explode if you attack, or sometimes even if you attack the enemy it doesn't stop the thing from being activated and you end up not knowing what it is, what it does or how to stop it.

I don't know if you guys ever notice or not, but when the Flowerbedo talks (in JP) his intonation is a bit different than our Albedo. Our Albedo intonation is always smooth and polite, but Flowerbedo's intonation was sharp and mocking. So I already knew whenever Flowerbedo appears.
But Susbedo never talks to us before. only appearing once in Monstadt with Sucrose and Timaeus, never talked with Traveler, so I don't know if the ones at the end of the quest is Susbedo or our Albedo, although my bet is like most people, it's Susbedo.

the chapter, and I was 100% convinced that imposter Albedo was one of Dottore's creations. After all, it fits his MO of creating things that turn into monsters. Part of me still hopes he is involved somehow.

Yes, this is actually the first time Mihoyo did a cutscene where the blade went through someone. There’s also the Signora death scene, but it was just a flash of light so it didn’t count as first. Pretty sure , people love it where this is going (means they might add more in the future).

I think what truly sells this is that everyone here is not like super OP. The fighting ground is equal, it's not lopsided like with the Harbringers and the Archons. In fact the original best fight scene imo was the one with the Abyss Herald, which also had equal fighting grounds
