Thank you for sharing your adventures of your Alaska National Parks, you both do a great job taking shots and experiencing these amazing remote parks. How much did you end up playing the Golden Eagle Outfitters for the air flight over to the sand dunes and back?
He estimated about $4000 total. It depends on the number of people on the plane, not necessarily how many are in your group. We ended up saving some on both trips because they had to go out to pick up some people when they dropped us off, as well as, two people wanted a quick trip when they picked us up. So, we ended up paying about $3200 in the end. Honestly, I would try to plan well in advance and try one of the other outfitters. The problem is that it is also hunting season, so the really good ones fill up quickly! ~A~
I'm sure there are. On our visit, we only saw wolf tracks, but the sand was "reset" from the wind and rain so it's tough to know what other animals move through the area. ~J
Looks like a great spot for some great photos where nobody was before.
That, it certainly is. ~J
Very adventurous. Well done!

I never knew there were sand dunes in Alaska. Any predators around those areas?
