  • Dialux is the premium polishing compound and a firm favourite for all those looking for a superior finish to their metal work.
    Dave from Celtic Dreams was kind enough to do a customer review video, and tell us what he thought about the Dialux bars.

    I compared the blue stick to the jar of red Rouge that comes in the Dremel kits.
    The Dialux is TONS better than the crud from Dremel. No comparison. And this was on a stainless ruler that was unprepped beforehand. I didn't even clean it. And it was DULL. The light blue stick and a dremel 1 inch felt wheel put almost a mirror finish on it with almost no effort. I was stunned.

    Very helpful video!
    I'm looking to clean up some Chasseur Escoffier copper pots that I've had for years. Can you help me to choose the right compound and buffer?
    The short story is that I accidentally burnt one of the pots by putting on some water to boil a few eggs, then lay down on the sofa and fell asleep (of course!!)... Woke up the next day to find the pot still on the stove and completely black!! Thankfully the pot seems structurally OK-no warping! I've got a fair way in restoring it using Bar Keeper's Friend, a lot of elbow grease, and time. But there are still a lot of black fleck marks on it still and the copper has dulled a lot.
    I'm looking to purchase a bench polishing wheel to fix this one up.... and, of course, keep it to touch up the pots to a beautiful shine every year or two.
    If you have any suggestions on what combination of wheel and compound would most suit the job, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know!

    • @Eternaltools
      @Eternaltools  4 месяца назад

      And they say having a snooze is good for you! (not for your copper pots though) Yes, if you use a little Yellow Dialux on a felt bob, disc, mop or wheel in a hobby rotary tool this will clean the copper up nicely and bring it back to a shine.www.eternaltools.com/dialux-polishing-compound

      Yellow for pre-polish and white for final polish. However, if you want to clean all the intricate inbetween bits of your silvr chain you'd be best to use a radial disc polisher, something such as 3M radial discs: www.eternaltools.com/3m-radial-bristle-polishing-discs or the EVE radial discs, specifically designed for gold and silver: www.eternaltools.com/eveflex-radial-pumice-twist-polishing-discs
