I tell you though, if JC will be doing other projects between Avatar films then I don't see how 4 and 5 are going to get released with the two year separation that we'll have between 2 and 3, these films clearly take a lot of dedication.
Now, if Jim will indeed train somebody in the making of these films as he said he would do then I can think of no one better than Robert Rodriguez to take up that mantle so that JC can go do other stuff and we can still get our Avatar sequels in a reasonable time frame.
However, the only problem with that is Rodriguez needs to do Alita! What a tangled skein...

Too bad eeaao was a disaster lol. But, that says a lot about Landau and his kindness. I can not say the same about the eeaao fans.
