i made a mistake in xy=12 question. Instead of y=-2x+10, i accidentally wrote y=2x+10 while answering on my own but somehow managed to find an alternative solution of x=-1 and y=-12

Going a little too fast there buddy (2:33), that's why you are screwing up. Keep in mind when your're doing a demonstration online, you need to go a little slower that way people watching your videos don't get confuse...

Why did you divide by both sides in 7?
alternative solution:
xy = 12; 2x + y = 10
multiply equation 2 by x to get
2x^2 + xy = 10x
replace xy with 12
2x^2 - 10x + 12 = 0
then proceed
i did this by accidentally putting y=2x-10 and then substituting it into xy=12
except you get negative 12 instead of positive
and the answer differs to becoming x=-1 y=-12
What happens when you can’t factor?

Complete the square or plug into the quadratic formula

you probably wont see this but, 5:11 why is 20 - 4 = -16 ? it should be 16 not -16
He subtracted both sides by -20
he transposed 20 so it will be -20
