I have TONS of repeating locations in my dreams, also my childhood home and 1st job as well! Also Las Vegas for some reason, but a completely different Las Vegas. I also have repeating storylines that happen in my dreams and it can get crazy in depth
stick a bunch of rent free houses in any of these liminal -room dimensions and i think people would line up, regardless of any stalking shadows or dreadful geometries

I wouldn't call you low energy. I'd say you're more chill and relaxed. You're not fully immersed into the game that you can't communicate to your viewers. As for where I'd prefer to be stuck, I think the pools would be preferable of the two playable levels. That suburbia just seems too vast and empty. At least the enclosed pool rooms help you feel a bit more insulated. Also, that's the flag of Argentina.
It’s funny you ask us if we’ve had repeating f locations in dreams, because as a kid I used to have reoccurring dreams in a space very much like how the Poolrooms are depicted. The main difference is instead of slides being scattered throughout the space, my dreamscape was littered with locker rooms & shower heads Sometimes I’d be alone there, sometimes people I knew would make an appearance, but it was always the same white tile walls and floors all around

Are we assuming that there is no such thing as hunger and thirst in these pool room environment? If so, I probably wouldn’t mind if I was stranded in this type of environment although, I would be very uneasy in any type of liminal space because I already Can’t see anything around me. When I say that, I already cannot see anything around me, I mean, that I am completely blind, so liminal space which could in theory go on for infinity, would be very unsettling for me not being able to tell what’s around me and then add in the fact that that goes on and On Forever. I would not want to be in any type of liminal space like that. I need to know where my borders are by feeling where they are. At least the majority of you who are viewing this have the ability to see the fact that the space goes on for seemingly eternity.

A show I'd recommend is Hellbound. It really gripped me, personally. The show is kind of this "religious horror" about a new spiritual movement that's threatening the lives of the people around them in an evangelical-adjacent way. It's hard to describe without spoiling major details.
As idea, I find the pool rooms most interestin place to wander, but in reality it might be the worst, the clothes would be constantly wet and it is way harder walk in water. PS. Your energy lever has always been good! I like the normal style and real reactions and just can not stand the fake style many other RUclipsrs have.

I have noticed that when you are continuously walking, at least in this game, the steps are not even. If you listen, there will be steps that are evenly pasted, but then it will start over again and it’s very close to the last step, so it sounds like they are not walking evenly. Also, am I correct in assuming that the only affect the water is having on the player is that they move slower when they are waiting through the pools? Because it doesn’t sound like their clothing is getting waterlogged. It doesn’t sound like their feet are squishing in their very heavy, sounding shoes. I don’t know why they are stomping around everywhere. Lol. And you also cannot hear the water dripping off them as they are walking around after emerging from a pool.

ok, grumpy man rant incoming: I think this may be my least favourite game you've covered on the channel. I think the backrooms / liminal space games are interesting to some extent but they're like the Slender of the mid 2020s - people are shitting these games out like crazy and barely doing anything unique with them. they all use the same style of shiny / wet graphics, and it looks good, but I couldn't tell you one from the other. the atmosphere is creepy, but almost any environment with little to no sound and nothing interactable can be creepy too. if someone were to play this game without knowing anything about liminal spaces or the poolrooms or the backrooms or whatever, they would probably say it's an asset flip or someone just slapping together maps with nothing to tie them together. (this is similar to your criticism of the awful indie horror game Amok that you played a number of years ago that I just happened to watch the other day.) I think calling these games a walking simulator is an insult to games like Gone Home, Firewatch, Journey, Dear Esther... etc. realistically we should just call them "liminal space games" so you know what to expect (a whole lot of nothingness, which is totally ok if that's your jam) and then for this game specifically - the footsteps are uneven (which is maddening), the music is copyrighted, there's little to interact with, almost all the houses are the exact same... literally the only interaction I saw in the game was the yellow ball rolling. and THE GAME CRASHED! how is that even possible? what could this game possibly be doing such that it crashed? the game's not even marked as early access, this is supposedly a finished product! tl;dr: games are different than they were 10 years ago and that scares me. for what it's worth, I'll continue to watch you play these games because I appreciate your commentary and like supporting you. Regardless if you like it or not, Dreamcore is a walking simulator. It has less interactions than the others but it still falls into the genre. That's not to say it's as good as the others though.
this just looks like a rip off. You pay for a game that has nothing interesting in it, with zero storytelling. the creator figured out how to make money making a walking simulator.. poor Truman show attempt.
