I like it, as long as you don't expect realism. Some of the vegetation when it's windy is too animated, i'm not sure which mod does it, but it looks like the trees are possessed. It's also more saturated. Perhaps this can all be tweaked depending on mod. The good side is that there's more detail, and no doubt up close higher quality textures

It really adds scale to the game, makes the map feel much bigger.
Yeah, in vanilla i feel the map is even smaller than GTA IV Liberty City.

This doesn't even look like Southern Cali anymore. Don't get me wrong, it looks good but this looks more like the Midwest or up north like Oregon.

The entire northern region of the map is supposed to reflect the pacific northwest. And parts of LA are genuinely this dense

I think when he said 10 years he meant the years we are in and how mods have transformed the game over the years
When gta5 was developed, they wanted to add more vegetation, tree, others thing but the PS3 have to bad performance for this.

I agree. Needs a bit of a reduction in certain areas (more specifically the desert and city) but overall it's a jaw dropping mod.
