Rev. Dr. Caesar Arthur Walker Clark is one of the GIANTS of the baptist tradition, let alone the black preaching legacy. HE pastored the Good Street Baptist Church in Dallas for over 50 years. He was a graduate of the great Bishop College, a school KNOWN for making powerful preachers! We're blessed to be able to listen to this sage speak!
I Love Dr Clark
He recommended me to my first church in Texas
I'm so glad this is posted, Dr Clark is my favorite preacher, he was a giant of a man
His enunciation is FLAWLESS AND TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. Speaks slowly and carefully..no preachers TODAY are like this man
I remember being very young. Dr Gardner Taylor and Dr Clark were on the same program together. Dr Taylor was the preacher and Dr Clark did the prayer. I remember people in my area of the seating were remarking “ let them do a tag team sermon.” My auntie said that would be like “ heaven connecting with earth.”
Oh my!!!! I wish I could’ve been there!
I'd love to find a recording of that one
Yeah they also came to Africa
Dr. Clark preached me happy in this car.
I heard him preach this I think in Baltimore at the Congress in ,the early 90s. I needed it then.. I need it now.
I need to hear this he was my hero for I love his preaching what a great soldier
Alright Cuz keep at it!
I listen to all of Dr. Clark's sermons on 1.5x speed. Haha take your time and preach doc!
That's a good idea lol
😂😂😂 I get it!
Didn’t even think about that.. lol
Amen!
“Be careful where you go to sleep” 🙌🏿🙌🏿
❤ this great black leader!
I heard him speak many times
In person in the city of Philly.
Dr.tyrone Williams of Chester PA
And all the people said,Amen!
This was one of my favorite sermons
"What are the "Signs" of spiritual bankruptcy?" Dr. Clark, a leader amongst men; all men.
The men of Old told the same story! It doesn't change! He came!
I wonder if Judas knew the story
Speak, Sir!!!! Tell it!!!!! SAY IT LOUD AND SAY IT PROUD!!!
My late aunt would go every year to hear him in Philadelphia Pa in West Philadelphia Vine Memorial Baptist Church. She would say “ that little old preacher from Texas.”
He preached A possibility of a comeback up there
@@khristiansmith1224I think I remember that one. I was a child I was born in 1976. I do remember this one Spiritual Bankruptcy preached at Vine Memorial about 1987. My cousin has my late auntie’s tapes of his revival. He preached that revival yearly into his late 80s. I believe he was about 85 or 86 the last time I heard him in person. He slowed a bit, but still could move an audience.
Being from Dallas I was too young to realize how many powerful preachers in the area.
This was expository preaching at its best
3 Major Conferences Should come together! We Preach the Gospel of CHRIST! How are we Different?
Amen!!!
