7:25 everyone knows that sequels are always better. LOL they should have used that one in a commercial. Glad they added a practice area in this one. Was much-needed (and sorely lacking) in the first game
I wonder, what would it look like, if there was a scene in a river city girls game, where misako and kyoko talk seriously about their friendship. It becomes a very heartwarming, serious and emotinal scene, maybe after a tough boss battle and the tension in the air is very palpable. What does everyone think?
The cutscenes don’t change when you play different characters. The in-game dialogue doesn’t really change either except for certain events and it’s just about a two-line difference.
Credit where it's due, the writing is MUCH better this time around. I hated almost everyone who had any speaking lines in the first game, with the only exception being Abobo, Riki, and Kunio. Abobo because he's actually a pretty funny guy. As for Riki and Kunio, they have next to no lines so have nothing to hate about them I can hate. There are still some characters I hate, but at least we get to beat most of their faces in. Only exception is Godai, who only exists to be voiced by JackSepticEye, and make the first game's plot awful.
@Dr. Autism God Just about nobody has any redeeming qualities in their personality. People were despicable stereotypes. The biggest one I could think of is the snobby upper-class guy. I can't remember a thing about him, except he was a douche with nothing likable about him. It's not even fun to hate the jerks like GLaDOS in Portal. They just suck. And the worst part is that the story itself sucks in the first game. The set-up is that Riki and Kunio are kidnapped. But when you get to the ending, they were perfectly fine the entire time. It's only thanks to a developer confirming online that Godai, the pervert, somehow sent fake pictures of Riki and Kunio. The first game happens because a creep voiced by JackSepticEye wanted to spy on 2 idiot girls.
Too bad they decided to become woke and blackwash kuniko and kozuki. I was forgiving when they did it with yoko but this is too much. It's because of things like this that people like johny somali exist.

I really liked the game
Was not a big fan of how much backtracking there is tho. After a while you just sort of get bored and take a break from it

Can you explain your criticisms for everyone else in details?

I think it was a good change purely because it upset you.
