A small wave of sets in the castle theme would be the absolute best. Similar to what they brought out for the City Space sets this year, a wave of varying sets at different pricepoints and matching themes.
Honestly I feel like the hype they get is deserved, the most badass (not the coolest, I’d say that’s the raven knights) faction at a pretty decent price. And that blue/black color combo is mwah 💋
Honestly the krakens can be an honestly awsome islands nation with a unique port fort with a canal in the middle(like a port city in civ 6) and can have control of the kraken, which we never got, always squids with limited movement in arms, except the creator octopus they can build on. And dont forget that the lord in purple can be a good faction of private purple knights working for him. Remember the ravens were once a single fig too
I would love to see an extremely large Raven build sold in modular sets that can be put together to create one big build, just like the new Harry Potter Castle. A dream would be something along the lines of Winter in the Ravens Wharf. The sets should be like the modular city range sets with the ability to open the back, but not dollhouse by default, which is the worst. Forcing us to adjust expensive sets to close them up. Also the minifigures should be just as detailed as Lord of the Rings, which is the gold standard at this point 😉✨
The dragons masters in my eyes were a mysterious nation in the mountains like the papal States And the green dragon in the creator can be an omage to the original
I'd like a wave or 2 of various factions. Like a battle pack to start it off and it ends with a playscale castle or a ship or something. Of course for big fans and collectors there would also be a d2c style set. Seeing a wave with like 2 or 3 factions would be so cool especially after waiting for so many years. They have endless combinations they could try and we'd eat it up
I'm slowly getting into LEGO Castle and your videos are amazing for getting acquainted with the factions. I had no idea there were so many different factions lol. I wish the Bull Knights get some updates.😁
While my heart wants the red dragon knights back. I know they aren’t popular enough. I can think of three other avenues you didn’t explore: - D&D gets a full wave of sets as a way to capitalise on the new D&D edition release and compliment the rumoured CMF release this year. - Lego City Castle wave, just like Space has got this year - Lego Lord of the Rings gets another full wave due to the hype the large sets get or their own CMF line
Canonically the bull knights had no castle because they were renegades and bandits in he forest. So it would be more of a hideout like the wolfpack tower or a place to build their famous siege engines.
I can't wait to know the results of the Lego poll, but I'm rooting for the gryffins! It's exciting to imagine all that Lego can bring to the Castle line next.
Basically, all they need to do is release a very small official set with a restyled minifig in it (like a Bull or a Black knight) and make sure the fig comes on PAB too. Bricklink will then keep providing us all the sets and castles that go with it. I think this will be the year for more Wolfpack sets, as we already have that fig now.
I would also love to see an entire new Castle release with multiple sets consisting of Black Falcons, Lion Knights, and--here's hoping that they win the poll--the Raven Knights 🙂
I like krakens and it could be great expansion to develop new factions. I asked my friends to design custom cobra factions and then use UV printer to print it out. 🎉🎉
Lego needs to stop teasing amazing potential and just give us a castle theme, the sea serpent would be and amazing starting point, a decently priced set. ($30-$40 if remade well). And hey, the concept would go great with the kraken knights if they win.
imagine if they came out with a small wave of caste sets. a battle pack for the black falcons, kraken knights and lion knights. and maybe a better $80 castle that doesn't have the juniorization of the creator castle. maybe it could come with a king/queen and a few members of each faction. you could choose whos castle it is with cloth banners you could swap out.
Also taking into account the speed at which Sleeplessnight's Mountain Fortress got it's maximum amount of backers bodes well for the future of the castle theme.
I doubt Lego would ever do this, but I’d love to see a in depth theme for Ancient Greek / Ancient Roman factions. Hoplites and Legionaries in mass with buildings, chariots, and tents would be great to see
To be honest big sets are cool but i would also like to see some smaller sets, and some that do not cost so much. So maybe some battle sets or some base or small fort sets would be nice! 😅
I do think the inclusion of the Bull Knights in that vote was pretty notable. It doesn't mean anything will materialize, but it definitely feels like that faction is being floated for something. The poll contained two new factions; then the Ravens which haven't really had anything done with them yet, and finally the Bulls? Its not like there weren't other older factions Lego could have suggested.
A jousting set where there are quite a few different types of participants would be amazing. It is a great way to (re-)introduce popular knight factions and can also double as a great playset.
As a huge history nerd I would love to see maybe a faction or a few sets based on something like the ottomans or seljuk turks, maybe further east into the mongolians or Yuan dynasty china. New armor pieces and prints based on theirs, maybe even new weapons or more unique builds and designs. Theres a lot to offer from that time that I would love to see! I doubt this will happen anytime soon, but its neat to think about and maybe plausible because we’ve gotten lines of sets based off of vikings and samurai/ninjas.
Lovely! can't wait to see those black Knights remakes. If they are smart about it they can release a black knights creator 3 in 1 castle (a black medieval castle that looks like the original black knights castle - the one without the raised baseplate ) and then the remake set in icons - the one onthe raised baseplate - and make them modular together and separately . That would be a really good "castle series" to start with .
The Black Knights Castle is my most desired set. I've wanted to get it for 30 years. Hopefully, I will get it soon. I've actually noticed a slight price drop recently. But you gotta be careful; make sure the set has all three of those white dragon plumes!
Lego imo. needs both a regular castle theme with smaller sets, battlepacks etc. and the big boys. Focusing only on one or the other always leaves people out and it’s also just fun to expand and that’s hard to do if the only available set is 500€.
I would absolutely love for the Bulls to get a set which is an actual proper lair/hideout for them. (the castle they had in Lego Island 2 doesn't count in my book) Since according to the lore they were just living and hiding out in the forest near King Leo's castle and some sources even call it the Dark Forest so them getting some kind of hideout similar to a Forestmen or Dark Forest set would be great.
Id love to see them doing some more unique factions, since we have a nice selection of stereotypical knights in the modern era now. Which is also why i voted for the Krakens in hope they will turn out a sea and shore based, almost viking or Greyjoy type of folks. Idk mabye im alone on this one but im always drawn most to the non human races when it comes to any fantasy setting, so i would very much welcome any new stuff for the orcs or even dwarves or elves. They always have to potential to some weird and whacky stuff without it feeling out of places and in general always offer something different
Would love a remake of Sea Serpent or Black Knights Castle. But a whole new wave with two new factions would be welcomed with praise and much jubilation
I’d love a dungeons and dragons theme. A more fantastical line of medieval sets instead of just knights. The minifig series and set for dungeons and dragons encourage you to switch up all the pieces of the minifigs, and intentionally print the minifig parts to be interchangeable. A whole wave of that would be awesome. So many unique color schemes or new pieces entirely have been introduced for D&D. I’d like that to continue. It’s also the theme that encourages you to make up your own stories while providing a lot of D&D info to start up becoming your own Lego dungeon master. I think they executed turning an rpg board game with loot to collect and enemies to fight perfectly into a Lego set. It’s like you’ll see a random potion that you’ve built in other sets comprised of two simple bricks, but because it’s placed where it’s at in the D&D set, the book you read about it makes it way more than a couple Lego pieces to add to a space. Now, because of the book, that’s the potion of clairvoyance. Because of the board game connection, the lego accessories are all actual loot now with their own different abilities, even if some are same pieces. The D&D set really encourages looking at the Lego pieces as more than just that. We need more
Two top factions Jousting. Extra factions sold separately. Factions pack includes Flags and banners, one tent, one knight, one horse with barding, squire, faction related molded pet, campfire, etc…Not one fig.🏹
i mean honestly they’re gonna keep doing the icons but i really hope we get a new line of sets for castle. honestly im thinking we might just get a line of DnD sets which would not be an issue for me since thats just fantasy done even better than lego themselves
I wouldn't want a remake of the Black Knight's Castle. It was good for its time, but it would feel awfully small and empty today. A spiritual successor is what I'd prefer, something closer in size to the Lion Knight's Castle (or at least between it and the original Black Knight's Castle), but with the design principles and color scheme of the original Black Knight sets.
They revealed in a guidebook back in 2022 that there's four medieval sets being remaked. Lion knights castle, forestmen outpost, falcon stronghold, and black knights castle. With the Kraken seemingly beating the crows, bulls, and griffins. They'll need some naval base competition and Lions & dragons have precedent.
As a kid, I never understood the difference between Black Knights and Dragon Knights. To me, they were the same faction, mostly due to them having the same shields. I personally think they should just merge the two factions and not worry about "lore" so much. I guess some people might be upset, but the only upsetting thing for me... is the lack of unique dragon helmet and the cool dragon plumes. I need that helmet back!
If we do get a remake or reimagining of the black knights castle i hope it has black masonry bricks. Can you believe we've never gotten masonry bricks in black?
Have you ever watched the last kingdom. It’s set in England during the Viking invasion of England I’ve not watched the hole series but it’s really good
I could Lego realising a whole new theme at the same time as deicidng to drop a proper lord of the rings wave. Just something silly I could see them doing
I think the bulls being a candidate for the faction poll rules them out for 2025. If they win the poll then we me might see them in 2026/27 maybe? But I doubt it. My hope for the future of castle is a crossover range like modern space. A main wave of sets for kids under city branding, some friends sets for… friends. then a few adult and teen sets sprinkled around with the same branding alongside a CMF set. Black knights but all black, bull knights are awesome, but wwhat we want the most is. A full castle theme with original themes.
Nice vid 👍🙂

All I want is the Kingdoms era Dragon knights back. That dark green and gunmetal colour scheme was just perfect.
