OOOH, I am drooling! I have always been drawn to Buicks since I was a young teenager and saw a 53 Skylark. That model and year is still my favorite car ever. The green convertible is very nice and it drew me in for a look. I would like to go cruzing in that car. In December of 1966, just before I was to go into Army basic training, I took delivery of a 1967 GS400/four speed that I had special ordered. The color was darker blue than the hardtop car next to the convertible, and my car also had the black vinyl top. Wow, this takes me back to when I was 20 years old. Yea, that "Star Wars" air cleaner is just cool! Thank you so much Lou, you made my day!

So cool, those were great years for that platform at GM. I noticed the fly buttres rear window on th blue 67 next door. I wasn't aware Buick used that feature in those years.
I’ve said it before but my dad bought my mom a 67 Buick Wildcat convertible in 1971. The car was like riding in a cloud. Dad begrudgingly sold it in 73 to buy her a Datsun (which he hated) to save on gas. Dad liked the big block Chrysler’s and Chevy’s with the power and torque they produced.
I had one of those, bought it as a basket case in 1982, drove it for 18 years, and sold it for health reasons. And I have still, to this day, never seen another one in person, anywhere. Not even at Goodguys. A '67 GS400 convertible is a unicorn, you never see one.
Thanks for posting this, Lou.🙂 That's a fantastic Buick, and what a great colour. I've never seen that "Star Wars" air-cleaner before. It's a beautiful feature, and I can't believe it only lasted a year.

Buick was a styling powerhouse in the 60’s and early 70’s. And in ‘67, they finally had a V-8 worthy of their styling. This new-for-‘67 engine series replaced and was a far better engine than the outgoing nailhead. I had a ‘70 Olds Cutlass convertible, which was my second favorite convertible that year. The Skylark was my favorite …
I just fell for another automotive love ❤ That '67 with that engine in that deep green is so sweet. I wonder if she will leave Paul and move in with me...
