The Holy Spirit will not allow you to watch bad programmes and movies if you are sensitive to Him and heeding Him. A movie with killing and violence, or sex in, is not a "nice" movie. No excuses for watching them. It's always bad to watch. Praise the Lord for this family's deliverance from evil!
This is one of the reasons I stopped watching crime scene videos that happened, because the details would be very horrific and graphic, and they would bring images in my mind that I would not want, so I stopped watching them

NO NO NO, I disagree, people should watch only those things that are wholesome, not ENTERtain things that God is against! The Bible says put no evil thing before your eyes! It pollutes the mind, desensitizes (violence), and propagates ungodly beliefs, behaviors and lifestyles!! Come on people common sense! I live in California, Hollywood has nothing good to offer! We are the forerunners for what types of movies the world makes. There are few Christian producers, and those I will watch, but not necessarily always. One great show series is “The Chosen.” The Bible says to think upon all things that are pure, lovely and have a good report. The Bible even says that we are not to even discuss many of the evil things that the wicked do!

We are suppose to do what Jesus did which is setting the captives free and exposing every fruit of darkness for its light that makes darkness manifest. “It’s shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret,” is referring to those who enjoy talking about perverted things and take pleasure in in, like loose talk that doesn’t glorify God. But Paul was not talking about testifying to what the enemy did in our lives and exposing the darkness.
