Gosh, Hotch is and will always be my favorite character. His story line makes me kinda depressed when you look at central moments like the one in this video.
Great video! I've been re-watching Criminal Minds, and anything from Season 12 on makes me miss Hotch and Morgan so much. I'm about to go off on a tangent, but in my opinion, the show started going downhill before Season 12, but it helped to have a lot of the original cast around. Losing Morgan and then Hotch soon after was rough. Bringing Paget Brewster as Emily back was smart, but it stopped feeling like Criminal Minds, especially with Matthew Gray Gubler's absences and the addition of so many characters. I also never got used to JJ as a profiler. Well profiler, fine, but single handedly taking down unsubs and being allowed to use a gun snipers use? Nope. Anyway, I grew to accept and even like Tara and Luke (Stephen wasn't around long enough, and Matt was just okay to me), but it just wasn't the same. This video reminds me of the "good 'ole days." Awesome song choice, and perfect clips. 👏👏👏 Would love to see a Hotch tribute from Seasons 1 to 12x2. Even if the newer seasons weren't the greatest, I still love Hotch. Off to do a search...
Ahhh but with the ratings being so down and with mattys brilliant idea to put his character through hell and back the ratings went lower than they were expecting and since they left Aaron's story line open they're thinking about bringing Thomas Gibson back if only to satisfy the #NoHotchNoWatch party thats how we got aj cook back after they fired her they waited til the end of the season and into the middle of the season after that to bring her back in and thats what i think theyre going to do or atleast i hope they are i miss hotch and i think derek is maybe gonna be back to get his screen time with our baby spencer
Samantha Snape ok can the whole fandom agree that s13 was a WRECK without hotch, like the whole spencer plot was so unnecessary, like if they hadn't fired thomas the season would've been about finding mr scratch ugh i hate it
And the show was ruined as they desperately tried to fill his shoes. If he's on board the show could have gone for next ten years, but they fired one of the central characters, and tried to fill it by ruining other characters .
