- When you think of Naruto you probably picture the core crew--Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. But what about the shinobi that came before them? There’s Minato and Hashirama, and long before them, Kaguya Otsutsuki. Today we’re going all the way to the beginning of Naruto and Sasuke’s family trees to uncover all of their ancestors.

@@treyvonstanley9249 Not true. Sakura was pregnant with Sarada, and traveling with Sasuke at the time. When she gave birth, Karin assisted, and for some odd reason, decided to keep the umbilical cord. When it's DNA tested, it's only tested against Sarada's DNA, not Karin or Sakura. When later asked about the cord, Karin confirmed that she's not Sarada's mother, and did assist Sakura during birth.

Being from the same Clan doesn't mean you are part of the same family, a clan can also just be a group of people living together, so none of them have to be related.

Mito and Kushina are related, not only are they both Uzumaki but they are 2 of only 3 characters, along with Karin, to have the rare dense chakra that they use to heal, make chains, and more easily hold kurama. Madara calls them "pure uzumaki" but who know what that means.
@@nahte123456 Actually there was a 4th Uzumaki shown in the series. Nagato/Pain, was an Uzumaki. Obito even said at one point his pure uzumaki lineage was the main reason why he was so proficient with the Rinnegan; It gave him the body and chakra reserves required to use the eyes.

i dont think the list said Mito was kurishinas mom. I think it's because her parents are unknown and they know she's related to Mito and Mito is a place above Kurishina in the list
The funny thing is how did no one in the village expect Naruto to be Kushina's son. He literally had the uzumaki clan name! Kushina was the only uzumaki in konoha.

The uzamaki and the hyuga clan are from the otsusuki clan Hyuga from Ashura and Uzamaki from Hamura. Same thing applies to the Senju Clan which mean the Senju and Uzamaki are related. I did some research and found out the the Sarutobi are distant to the Otsusuki. Which means 6-7 current hokages are related, well if you consider Minato an Uzamaki. Well in Boruto, Konahamaru could possibly be the next Hokage. Leading 7-8 people being related. Also there are some chances Sarada Uchiha is going to be 9th Hokage. (Sad Tobirama noises) So there is our evidence that the clans are related. Keep in mind only Kakashi Hatake is the only person nowhere near related to the previous hokage clans.

I just realized that every hokage was either trained by another hokage or someone of importance. 3rd hokage was trained by 2nd. 4th hokage was trained by jiraya (sannin) who was trained by the 3rd. The 5th hokage was trained by the 3rd. The 6th hokage was trained by the 4th. The 7th hokage was trained by the 6th.
