The Curling Jelly is BOMB! My wash and go's last so much longer, and my hair has NEVER looked this good! I definitely agree that it's worth re-trying products once your hair is healthier, because the deep conditioner I am now in love with (Shea Moisture JBCO Hair Masque) didn't work for me at all a year ago, and now it is the only one I will use!

I am so glad you did this review. I too used As I Am co-wash early in my transition and was no too impressed. My hair was still heat damaged and I did not realize that damage could affect how the product performed on my hair, I guess I was expecting miracles. I am at 18 months since I started transitioning and my hair is in pretty good shape. So after watching your review, I bought the hydration elation, the leave-in and the curling jelly (I still had co-wash left). OMG, this stuff is awesome!! I too wish they made a bigger jar of the hydration elation, that stuff is the "truth"!! Even my husband commented on how nice my hair looked. So for Christmas, I got my daughter all the same products, and made a believer out of her. Great job Rocio!!

I'm a wash and go girl as well. do you find that your curls are more bouncy and shiny when you diffuse as opposed to just letting it air dry throughout the day? I feel like my hair gets frizzy and not as shiny when I let it air dry (which is everyday lol). thank you for the review!

I just tried it today and loved it, the jelly and have 2 b curls thick coarse hair. Smells amazing. I used a curl cream first then the as I am curl jelly, followed with a mousse to hold everything. My hair was curly, soft and held all day, loved it. I really love zotos bounce cream from Sally’s it’s cheap n works great.

I feel like we have the same exact type of hair. when its dry the curls look nice and full, but its actually like an illusion cuz its fine, thin hair. And my curls are just like urs too. I have been tryin to ge my hair nice and healthy but I get frustrated becuz I find alot of products feel greasy, or when it is wet it kind of makes my neck and face feel like I have a film on it. do u find that happens to u? I did use the co-wash but when done I didnt repurchase. maybe I should get it again and the other stuff.

My issue seems to be when she goes to sleep she wakes up with a knotted mess. Not sure how I should put it up or what I should do when she sleeps. Thanks!!!
It's been a year for me and my curls still are flat. I miss my curls so much. I'm sulfate free and heatless. I've put all the good stuff in my hair and nothing. I feel like I lost my curls forever :( voy a llorar
Try the aphogee 2 minute reconstructor or their curlific texture treatment. I jacked my hair up when I went blonde but it's been helping my hair bounce back.
I find it to be faulty , whenever I apply the curling jelly, it makes my hair coarse, no curls and forms some brown flaky stuff which looks nasty falling on wherever I stand combing through my hair. Very disappointing
Ok also made my hair feel dry and coarse, but the leave in is amazing. Apparently the double butter and so much moisture is also great. Yesterday I saw that they have another curling jelly for coarser hair to define curls. I will definitely try it because I love the other products.

Like you, I have that dry section in the back. You should part your hair down the center and apply the deep conditioner on each half.

Can you leave a little bit of the cow ash in your hair. I do the squish to Condish method and I don't rinse my regular conditioners all the way out
After the 3 days what do you do to refresh your curls?
