Singers are allowed to stylize thier voice. She has honed it well. It's her style. Now, Anne Briggs , she is too affected.

They're getting a bit polished these days aren't they? Still great music though.
Much prefer the version recorded by the Bothy Band. Her singing voice in this is too affected.
