It all starts with the parents if the kids see there parents being racist it has a flow on effect cause the kids then think it’s ok to do what there parents are doing

There are about 5 little Islander kids that play on the street and every day I politely wait for them to move and then give them a friendly wave as I drive past as they death Stare me and refuse to show respect or manners and wave back. There is one white kid that plays with them every now and again he's the only one that will wave. Yes it starts early. They don't see a man, they see a disgusting man if white skin. When I was young your Olds would give you a slap if an adult waved or said hello and you didn't say hello back. That's life it all starts in the home.

I think absolutely Australia has changed, we are no where near as racist as we were when Del was younger. A minority of people do not represent the whole of Australia

Education needs to start at a young age and will only be successful once the older generation has passed. Also until Australia is united with 1 rule for all, flag , national song there will always be divide . We need to eventually break from the UK past ties (but not forget ) or we will go in an endless circle of finger pointing and blame for past actions.
This basically means create a new national Anthem incorporating Indigenous language and English , a new flag representing modern Aust and Indigenous peoples of the Australia , scraping the Government pay outs / compensation to Indigenous people ( the UK should be responsible for that ) , teaching of Indigenous culture to all in school from a young age. It would be a mammoth task , but is achievable if done the right way by all parties involved.
I have lived away from Aust for a very long time , when asked about home I usually say " Aust is a very beautiful place but also quite racist , also dont forget racism comes from whites , blacks , Asians , Middle Eastern , African , European in Aust, it is not only the Caucasians dishing it out, so lets all respect each other :)
