I read her book " The choice " 3 years ago. I was in a bad mindset, traumatic codependent relationship at work. I was 16 when I started to work and neglected all my needs and desries as all my priorities were replaced with taking care of my family. It slowly broke me into pieces as I had not persued any of my ambitions and I became a depressed adult with zero self worth begging for love and chasing all the wrong people. I then learned I needed to forgive myself first and I needed myself the most to become myself again.I am a 360 degree changed version of myself and I love myself now. Reclaiming your true self and becoming stronger is is indeed a Choice. The two biggest gifts you can give to yourself and someone else are Freedom and Forgiveness.
