@@onthetracksof007 That's a magical town. You don't happen to know where I can buy the Simon Firth's book while I am here in Matera, do you? Casa Cava, maybe?
Wonderfuly done! You inspire people to travel and to expand their horizons and in that you do good work! Thank you for this amazing look at such a beautiful place. I can't wait to get there someday.
Awesome, thanks for putting this together! Brings back memories, from when I was there in September 2019 during shooting. Our AirBnb was across the gorge from where the cemetery scene was shot, and I saw the various explosions thru the zoom on my SLR. Went over there a day or two later, when filming was apparently finished, and got shushed away by the security guard when I was trying to take some pics. Let me know if you'd like any of the pics / video of what I was able to capture. Cheers!
Thanks for showing us. In my travels I'd like to visit some film locations at times. It's so hard to find specific spots at times! So appreciate you uploading these trips for all to see.
I am just back from Matera and Puglia, I am very grateful for this wonderful video. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Luckily I saw most of the spots of the film without knowing them in advance. 👏👏👏😉
Thanks for your video ireturned yesterday from Matera after shooting it for a couple of days and then also a brief visit to gravina which is nearby but many points in the city where the film was shot I was unable to recognize them I looked for the cemetery but they explained to me that the same hotel where 007 was staying was fake. I followed this video very carefully, too bad I didn't find it when I was there, it would have been my guide. Thanks again.
We've just come back from Italy, where we had an overnight stay in stunning Matera. This video is fascinating as we walked past so many of these places! The 3:46 point shows the edge of a cafe (Austin) on the right hand side where we stopped for a drink! Thanks for this!
Martijn great work as always simply amazing. Did you mention Bari is the way to fly in and rent a car to get out to matera. I am considering a trip there maybe next year when things hopefully get better better in the world COVID wise
That was absolutely a fantastic work and so nicely put together. Thank you. I was in Matera and took a 007 tour but not nearly as enjoyable and as clear with all of the details you provided. I wished I would have found your channel before I went!! Thank you.
Brilliant..... I'm actually in my Matera hotel room on Via Roma double checking i was in the right place for the 360° donut..... had 2 local made Gin & Tonics outside that bar 🍸 opposite the Giovanni Battista (John the Baptist) Church, wondering was this it ..... loved the sunshine..... summer must be absolutely baking here...Cheers, from an Irishman..... still have to go to Gravina di Puglia for the bridge scene. Whats that book title and author?
I am going to Matera for two days. Your video is incredibly inspiring. But could I ask you one thing? Zo, that you showed the places where the movie No Time to Die was filmed is great, but could you show me exactly where the mentioned places are? I'd like to take a picture of them when I'll be there 😂 Thank you very much. I can give you an email or something so you can show me the exact coordinates of where it was filmed. 😊
It's not a very expensive area. You can go for the luxury, but also on a budget. There are expensive hotels and cheaper ones. Expensive restaurants and cheaper ones. You can go and spend 100 euros a day, but also 600 a day.
Well done, again, Martijn! Thanks for posting in our Facebook group!
Martijn, the work you do is just simply unmatched!!! This was amazing!
Thanks Joe!
I love it so much, my home ❤
Watching it in Matera. Just came half an hour ago 😁 Came because of Bond movie
That's amazing!!

They had a few for sale at the cinema, which is at the main square west of the old town!
@@onthetracksof007 Thank you! 😀 I will go there tomorrow. Seen the building from outside today. Aston Martin is not there anymore 😭
Good luck and have fun there!

We wrote a book about it, with map etc. Just check out Onthetracksof007.com or search Amazon for ITALY by SIMON FIRTH
What is the name of the church where you named doughnut circle and the shootout happened?
Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista
Amazing thank you! I am there right now.
Standing in Matera looking for the bridge 🤦♂️
🤣🤣
For 4 days how much you budgeted?

It's a shame EON didn't put in this much effort to the actual film
Can you help me to find this place on map? 6:15
Gravina in Puglia
