Thanks Graham, I keep coming back to your videos for helpful pointers. Wish I lived in England for some lessons. 🙂

Unless I’m mistaken this video is in reverse, i.e when he says he is playing his left hand, it looks like his right.

yup - This is so weird to watch - great ! - but weird because it seems the left arm is playing higher notes down the keyboard, where I expect bases!! The camera is reversing everything, basically. But it's unsettling to watch ;-)

How awkward was Gould's posture at keyboard? It looked very uncomfortable.

that was a fantastic video to watch im struggling with the best technique to play the c.p.e Bach Solfeggio for grade 6. which hand or arm movement do you think would be best ? i really dont want to cripple my hands or elbow as i've got carpel tunnel again.

Lisa, you need to make sure you find a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to help you. It's impossible to give an ethical response to your question on here!

Why are you practising that much when you have carpal tunnel?? It is inflammation and needs to be calmed down, not worked!

@@couchphotography8861 I was practicing for exams at that time. Thanks for reply but that was last year. Doing composition now though.
