    I've been looking for a way to mount my sabers. These would be so easy to weather with a few coats of paint, make it definitively Star Wars

    Great vid. I didn’t want to ruin my walls and always had the hilts on a stand but when you run out of room this idea is excellent you can even spray these grey if you want that space industrial look

    Some model paint or 3D print some accents and it could easily be a perfect blend into the Star Wars universe. A lot of props in Star Wars are made from real world things. Qui-Gon’s communicator was made from a Gillette women's razor with extra parts added and repainted. There is a youtube video on how to make it.

    Did you wait an hour before putting any weight on it? The strip is meant to set in its neutral position for an hour before putting weight on it.
    Keep us updated if it falls off, on hot days the strip/adhesive can soften.

      So, Florida is just about as humid as you can get, and I never had any issues!

    That's what I use for my darth maul forcefx pair, the broom holders where very cheap from temu, it's not the command strip ones, I got screw in ones, but they also sell self adhesive ones a lot cheaper than command version

    I found a bunch at Goodwill for around $4! I'm excited to set them up once I get my desk up, but it might be a while. They worked well at my old place as well!

      Almost forgot, if you don't like how they look with the blade in the rubber grip, a thin neck will fit in just as well. I did it with my Kenobi saber, and it looked pretty cool

      Actually, you could 3d print star wars style clamp covers for them, led lights & greeblies if obsessed with aesthetics & so forth lol 😊

    When I hang things I use painters tape to mark the spot instead of a pencil. super simple and it comes right off.

    What a genius idea Carly! I was originally thinking about buying those expensive $100 lightsaber display stands from sabertrio for my sabertrio lightsabers but I don't have much room living in a townhouse to have that option, I will definitely go with your idea with the command strips. ❤

    That’s actually a pretty darn good idea. I have not tried this before. I have recently used 3M command strip hooks though in the kitchen and they were perfectly fine for you an order two years but then when I went to remove it, it took out chunks of the wall. Lol. Not easy removal.

    That's actually really smart. Been wanting to get something to hold my sabers off like Etsy or something, but everything I've seen is like $40 to hold up 1 saber, and I like the impermanence of these.
    edit: I have honestly bought 6 of these things, they work so well and are not an eyesore.

      I accidentally replaced my profile picture with Captain Hook. It should be emperor Palpatine.😂 I did it a while ago and forgot to change it back anyway, I’m planning on also making a channel showcasing my collections. It’s small right now but I love adding on as much as I can.

      probably not. unless you have a really thin hilt
