In China, they teach lots of dance styles. And their interest with Indian classical dance forms is well known. We do have political difference but that should not come in between exchange of cultures, knowledge, art and music. China also has got many amazing dance styles, musical instruments etc. But sadly in India, there is hardly any talks about China's rich culture and art, would be very difficult to even find a learning centre. Public judge you a lot if you are consuming Chinese related entertainment etc. Even reaction towards Pakistani entertainment is much softer. I think it's more because of language difference and few stereotypes. Also we haven't been able to separate political and cultural things. We are just too emotional. haha Both countries have lot of potential in learning from each other int he sphere of art and knowledge.
"At least they tried". How would you feel if you have worked very hard on a project and your lecturer or superior says, "This is not an easy project. But at least you tried"? Also, are you an Indian who knows a lot about classical Indian dances?

Ethnic Chinese excel in schools in the West and have made remarkable achievements in South East Asia, not to mention Taiwan and Hong Kong. China was held back by communism but when it decided to open up, it has progressed rapidly. Vietnam is progressing rapidly too. Although Vietnam is part of South East Asia, Vietnamese are ethnically East Asians like the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans. What they have in common is Confucian-culture based. Indians have to leave their motherland then they can excel in foreign countries.
