Can you still build a great Gaming PC on the cheap, without getting an Optiplex?

- I could buy a cheap Optiplex and throw a Graphics card in to call it a day, but I still had that Xeon, just waiting to be used. Not to mention I still had that Pink ESGaming case sitting on the shelf empty. But would it work? #xeon #rx580 #rx6600xt

2:03 "a very poor excuse of a case". You just have to check out what I dug from trash. Been decades since I paid for a new case.
There is something to be said for "free". 😊
What do u think about those aliexpress Erying motherboard with +10th intel laptop processor? The Engineering Samples one, like an i7 by 180$, those looks interesting imo
It would probably be fun to test and try out, but sometimes engineering samples have issues like driver support, not being able to clock as high, or features may be missing depending on where in the development cycle it is. The price is right, though, with those CPUs still coming in over two hundred dollars. SCary thing is, I saw some 'new' B85 motherboards that have m.2 slots. I still haven't convinced myself not to order and try one.
@@ThatPaulGuy most common issues with those mobo ES are virtualization and something related to XMP profiles, they have non-ES versions too
Hello So I'm planning to build my system unit with these server CPU.
The specs is :
Mother board-Jginyue x99m-plus original chip (ddr4/ddr3 variant)
Intel xeon e5 2680 v4
Rx 5500xt 8gb
32gb ram 2400mhz ecc ( 2400 mhz is the maximum frequency can only hold with this cpu)
1tb SSD
550 bronze rate psu (is this enough ?)
So concluding all of these is I'm satisfied with the build but I don't know if it's good, what do you think? And I know that's there are still better xeon out there but this feels alright for me
Mainly use for gaming and light use apps ,I'm aware that its a workstation and not for gaming , tbh I could still change if I wanted to.But I still want the xeon lol.
For gaming performance is this build good enough, will these have a stutter?,
As long as it can play 1920p
60fps and not stuttery, heck I could even play 45 fps medium settings and lock it there. I'm not that very demanding. As long as it has solid 60 fps good enough for me. And is optimize enough for windows 10 . Because it said that windows 11 don't support the cpu,so windows 10 it is.
I'm not sure if you'll see 60fps in everything , but the combination should be a solid one. 1920x1080p should work out pretty well, but if you notice some issues, you may be able to lock the framerate on something it reaches for a smoother experience.
I love the video !! Gives 66000 xt some love!!! Lol
I do have a question but I'll email you it 😅 great content paul !
Thank you. I replied to it. 😊
