- An epic sand marble race with 10 unique handmade animal marbles! They roll down a long 408 feet course (same course as the 2019 Marble Rally Race 3 and 4). This race is an extra race for those who cannot wait until the Marbula One, the first M1 upload (qualifiers) is next Saturday 15 February at 13:00 (1:00pm) UTC. The M1 first race is at Sunday 16 February at 13:00 UTC.

Not going to lie, I wasn't emotionally prepared for the journey that I went on while cheering for that marble
what a rollecoaster of emotions!
Seal had an amazing race. He so consistently held onto that 2nd spot even as the 1st place constantly switched hands. Then he gets stuck, but after being dislodged he manages to crawl back into 2nd place... only to make his move at the very last leg of the race. And win. What a performance!
Neither was I. (Except I was cheering on Dragonfly)

Mine was Moonfish, thinking the blue color may be an asset... Like yours, it was absent form the screen during most of the race, and end up on 9th position. Oh, well...
Seal: *gets stuck*

I don't know if it's the commentary...or what....but these marble races are so satisfying to watch. Find myself rooting for marbles..."Oh that was a close one", and other things go through my mind.

What a comeback by Dragon Fly, that was a great race.
Was rooting for his at the beginning. That comeback was amazing! Out of nowhere lol
Yeah, at the beginning I was like, "I'll pick the red one, sure" then "Oop, nvrmnd that one's out of this race" THEN "holy crap! GO GO GO!!!!" what an emotional rollercoaster!
I chose Seal from the start and I am super glad it made it as the first!!! 🔥

Unfortunately I don’t think he could see too well so he ended up in 6th :/
Key moments in the race:
0:26 - And they're off! After a chaotic start, Seal takes the lead position of the pack, closely followed by Spider and Ladybug. Everybody is close behind, vying for the best position.
0:45- the curving: the first curving part of the circuit: Seal and Ladybug fight for the first place while negotiating with difficulties the curves and counter curves of this part of the race.
1:23: Dragonfly takes the lead! While everybody else uses the safe but slow road, the red marble takes a chance at the riskier top road, and gets a just reward: Dragonfly will take the lead for a big part of the race.
1:49: Dragonfly is still on the lead, now being challenged by moonfish, seal and ladybug. The gaps between the marbles are quickly getting wider, while they must negotiate between alternative paths... But SEAL GETS STUCK! Is it the end of the race for this marble? No! Someone nudges him just enough to dislodge the marble.
2:05: Dragonfly takes advantage of the long straights to increase its advantage! Ladybug and Seal (what a great performance from this) fight to keep close.
2:35: two unlucky crosses over slow parts of the circuit have made Dragonfly's lead come down to simple marble lengths! Now Seal is in a position to overtake him!
2:48: change of Leader! Seal is now in first, and Ladybug and Turtle close in on the second-position Dragonfly!
3:00: Careful on negotiating these curves and counter-curves: all marbles distinctively slow down and keep their relative positions. It would be a shame to lose now, so close to the end!
3:11: Final stretch: Ladybug makes a move and achieves second place. Seal is still leading! Dragonfly seems to have depleted its reserve and is unable to recover. Behind him, Turtle keeps close!
3:20: end of the Race: Seal crosses first. Then Ladybug, in second. And Dragon fly can just barely make it third place, in front of Turtle, who saved his last energy for a final push, ending in fourth place
3:25: more marbles cross the line: it is a testament to the quality of the four first places that the 5th marble crosses the line over two to ten second later! And poor starfish could not untangle from where it got stuck, finishing with a unhappy DNF!

I was rooting for Moonfish and-
got happy when he got to 1st place. Too bad it didn't last long...
moonfish just went all the way back, at least they didn't get stuck
I was so excited for a bit there, also cheering for Moonfish. A disappointing placement in the end, but let's hope there's another in the future for redemption. Moonfish has shown the power and ability -- next time gotta just not get stuck!

I chose bee. Didn't get to see it at all except at the very beginning and very end when it came in a full 10 seconds behind the leader.
When your'e creative, all you need is dirt and marbles to make something amazing.

He may not have won, but Dragonfly going from last out the gate to first, then sticking in the Top 3 is the sort of content we needed.
For a minute there I thought RN3 was moonlighting as Dragonfly
After 1:54 I had to check the names one more time cuz that was a move from RN3’s book

I thought the same thing! Maybe Dragonfly got some coaching from RN3 to prepare for the race? But if so, he forgot his lessons and let it slip away. What a fun race format!!
I can only wonder how Dragonfly, Blood Moon (Halloween race), and Ouroboros (Flower race) do just as well as Red Number 3...
Nah. RN3 doesn't almost get stuck twice in a race like Dragonfly did.

Been watching these for a few months when recommended, It’s the marbles that bring me here but it’s the courses, the thought, and mainly the Grade A commentary. I am sorry to deny you a sub for so long, I am subscribed sir, keep em coming, we appreciate your hard work. Question it, but appreciate it nonetheless. ;)

Huh... watching this gives me an idea. How about you guys start a Sudo marble league with teams based on animals? The only real complication I can see is that teams like the Hornets and the Bumblebees do exist in the marble (good luck to both of them in qualifying for the Marble league this year) but I think something like that with track layouts more based in forests and maybe overs rivers could be a cool idea. Bunch of immediate names already spring to mind:
The Insectoids/The Swarm
The Moonlit Eyes (Nocturnal creatures)
The Predators
The Pride (Mostly Lions but could be cool)
The Darkest Depths (Fish and other animals living in the darkest parts of the ocean)
etc
Just some basic ideas. Anyway, love the video man. Looking forward to Marbula one!

My God that was a close finish!
I was rooting for Octopus who I never saw in the top 5 and Seahorse who just managed to get in there. Nice lunge by Dragonfly and close 3rd place finish though!
In the Sand Rally's, I prefer the slightly broader path circuits. Those allow for a bit more overtaking between positions.
Even when things do go back to normal, I'll still watch this!

Seal came thru clutch! What a race!
I watched some cute seal videos earlier this day, so I chose seal in this race.
Good start, then was overtook by some marbles before fought back for the lead. Almost went out of race but thankfully it could continue. Finally pushed very hard to overtake speedy dragonfly and maintained the lead until the finish line. Never felt this good.
I hope this becomes a new series 🙈 i know every race has to be a ton of work but my whole house now has favorites.. this was intsnse and we loved it

JMR Fun fact: marbles that are red, have red marks or close to red pigments (like orange) had more chances to win races.
Blue and its variations mostly ends up last.

I think that's cool that you had an animal Marble Race! I was thinking that you didn't have any horses, but I guess the seahorse counts!
For these vast outdoor races, I would find sponsors to put their billboards along the track. Way to make it more like a real commercially funded race, and a way for added revenue for the channel so we can see more and more of these magnificent events!

Randomly decided Seal because I like the pokemon and holy heck this was nerve wracking when seal got stuck but came back for the win. These are the marble races I live for, the close ones are much more exciting I feel
