The new agrarian emancipation act

According to DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is expected to sign the New Agrarian Emancipation Act into law, on July 7, 2023.
The act will condone a total of P57.56 billion of unpaid amortizations of the principal debt, including interest and surcharges, incurred by 610,054 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) tilling 1.173 million hectares of land, helping countless Filipino farmers and their families across the country.
