Today you spoke about God not being in the business of fixing our past mistakes or adjusting our bad behavior but instead He gives us a new heart. While I agree that He can’t fix our past mistakes I believe you took the Word of God out of context today to try to save yourself from any fallout from the Baltimore Banner article . The promise of the Lord’s cleansing is IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS. It’s important that GGWO leadership give a clear statement regarding how you stand on the issue at hand - namely that certain men sexually abused children in the church and, when brought to your attentuon, the victims were silenced and given the expectatuon of forgiving their abusers. You can’t speak grace into that, or into your past mistakes of not reporting sex abuse. You admitted in this video that you are guilty - it’s time to bring it all to light, it’s time for GGWO to take accountability for past sins and stop denying and covering the horrendous sins of its abusers and shaming and blaming the victim survivors. It was only a matter of time before these victims spoke. Remember, your sin will find out and everything done in secret will be made known.
