@@NormanReaddis Her last "goodbye" stream was a 100th one (from those visible/non-members types), but for some reason, couple days after, that number was decreased to 99, like one of videos was deleted or hidden. I remembered that because Cover announced that they will not touch content on Sana's channel and they'll remove only members archives after 3 months, so "disappearing" that 1 vid from the count was weird to me.
It's really both but the back problem was the major contribution. Streaming for an extended period was literally causing her physical pain. I have no doubt Cover would have allowed her to stay just without Salary, a no pay leave of absence since it really wouldn't cost them anything, other talents have taken extended breaks too. But she probably thought it would be better to end on a high note rather than leave everyone hanging not knowing when she might come back. Back problems take years, even decades to recover from and we never really know how long this Vtuber fad will last.
Exactly, I think the back injury she suffered from falling down her stairs was far far worse than she let on (probably shattered her back) and as a result now has to use heavy prescription pain killers which probably as a nasty side effect knocks her out, thus explaining her sporadic stream schedule as those time she did was when she was the most lucid or chose to endure the pain.
@@blakraven66 She may have the professional integrity of not feeling fulfilling her duty as a streamer so she chose to graduate instead of just to hang on but unable to create contents. It's the best decision for both her fans and herself.
The final animation at end of her graduation was some heavy stuff but it was great that she ended it off with great fanfare and I hope the best for her in whatever comes next.
Man that made me feel like a part of me is empty, like what Luxiem’s Shu Yamino said when he thinks of graduations. It can apply to anything for me, not just HoloPro or NIJISANJI if it’s someone you enjoy watching.
One of best parts about Sana is that you can tell she never really cared about numbers, but instead having a good time with her fans. Many would've given up way before she retired with how much it was thrown at her and yet she was smiling up until the last minute in this form. A true force of happiness for this world.
Her final few weeks were so good. So many collabs, so many laughs. My feed was filled with new Sana clips almost everyday. A glimpse of what might have been.
@Nathan Goshawk For me I'm happy she didn't try to compete with them and just did her own thing. Cause she felt more like a comfort streamer and those type of streamers will never take the wheel. But that isn't a bad thing at all. For me at least I enjoyed her content because of that. I also loved Sana cause if I was having a rough/stressful day I would watch her and just feel at peace and happy. There was something refreshing about her personality that hooks you in and I think it was because she couldn't compete with them.
@Nathan Goshawk Exactly I think Sana and Ina fit in the same bubble. Like no matter how rough my day is I cant help but smile whenever I see a clip or watch an old stream. For me more than it being tough it just felt unfair cause if you listen to Astro girl you can tell how much she loved hololive and every collab you can tell how much she loves her friends. Like she finally find a place where she could have fun and not be alone just to have it taken away.
@Nathan Goshawk I don’t think she was ever trying to be funnier than anyone else Where she shined was her art review stream and the comment of “childlike wonder” is really accurate to me Watching her play a new game or getting excited made me love her more and more until the end
I was sobbing like hell when she left. She was by far one of the kindest vtubers to have in holo. She will be missed so much and hopefully where ever she is, she’s enjoying her new passion.
@@user-6-9-4-2-0 she is currently making art only but on her RUclips channel banamie she has a few streams on there. She hasn't streamed in about 3 months so not sure if she stopped or just taking a break. But on Twitter she is still going strong with her art
Sana was my absolute favourite member of holocouncil. When she announced her graduation I was so sad. I’m still not entirely over it, listening to astrogirl is still kind of difficult for me. I did manage to grab some of her merch on the rerun so I’m looking forward to getting that next year. I will hug my bread dog tight when it arrives.
Thank you covering Sana in such a respectful way and not descending into dramatic theories. You took the facts and made sure to remind people of what a great person she is. For someone as chill as her, there was an obvious mismatch between her and the fast-paced, full-on work culture of Cover. She is doing just fine and on a path that suits her way of life much better.
I really think she graduated is a mix of both. My theory is that because of her back problems she couldn't stream and be an artist. So I think she had to choose one or the other and as much as she loved Hololive she loved being an artist more. Which I can't blame her she is amazingly talented and it will be so much healthier and easier for her to heal if she left. I still tear up when listening to Astrogirl. I can't get past the line the universe is fun now. Without getting watery eyes cause she didn't deserve any of the pain she went through. So I'm happy she is still around and looks like she is doing good in her other life. So I'm really happy for her. Sana is BEEG and Sana is Eternal.
@@noneofyourbusiness4133 She either never exactly said what happened or i just forgot. but she had some kind of accident and it caused her to be in a lot of pain when sitting up for long periods of time. She tried to power through it but it seems like it was getting worse not better.
Guess I'm one of the weirdos that loved her design more than the others. We were in need of more tan vtubers. One of my main subbed vtubers from start to finish...I miss her so much :(
As someone who does not watch vtubers and ended up here from the youtube recommendations, her design is my favorite by far. I actually think that the others are the bad ones, they are way too overdesigned, overdetailed, and look like Genshin Impact characters rather than anime characters.
It's a shame, I liked most of her streams ( or should I say vods, cause I'm a eurobro), and she bounced off other holomems nicely I wish her the best wherever she is, she's not alone!
There is a reason that Cover says that you need to be able to upload or stream 3 times a week as a part of your contract. If you don't, the YT algorithm for discovery will cripple you. By now, Hololive has figured out a lot of things about how to be successful in their sphere. It is a shame she had so many issues early on. The final few weeks showed what she was capable of, but I don't know that we'll ever truly know how much it cost her in terms of health to keep up that kind of schedule.
It is important to mention that Cover explained in the Sana graduation statement, that they had multiple talks with her to try to stay. Cover is pretty lenient with allowing their talents to rest, provided the reason is good. I'd say something like a back injury is a pretty understandable reason to take a big break.
Even then, it's just more of a recommendation than a "must" follow through, in terms of schedule they are pretty free to stream whenever they want (only recently they start to put some limitations to avoid burned out, because without it, you would some of those nut jobs streaming nonstop... I am looking at you korone)
The saddest part about all of this is that quite literally every contributing factor to her lack of growth and graduation was outside of her control. She was one of the most talented, entertaining, kind hearted vtubers out there. I fully believe if things had simply turned out a tad different, she'd still be with us and be just as popular as the rest of council. At least she seems to be doing alright in her alter ego, tho I'm still sad how it all turned out to this day...
Sana was the main VTuber that I watched as her content was really good, and also, being Australian myself, it was comforting to know she was australian. I don't want to speculate what her graduation was based on, but it had to be a combination of factors, but Hololive did allow to finish off with a great last month of streams (most of which I cried multiple times). I will always remember Sana as one of my core oshi's. Wherever you are, Sana, we won't forget you :) Sana is Beeg!!!!!!
Not sure about speculations but I thought it was confirmed that she quit due to her back issues which persisted even after her surgery and sitting in front of a computer for a long time is painful for her. She had to choose whether to use the small time she could sit between streaming as Sana or her main job as an illustrator, she chose drawing. I still kinda play arknights to see her art and sometimes hope that if she's cured she can come back.
@severedproxy yeah, I think you're right as well. I guess we will never get the true answer, but that's the best guess. Didn't realise her art was on Arknights, so I might take a peak to see, but here's hoping she can return in some form to either streaming or illustration properly...
Health issues is a big problem for her career as vtubers, not only she had to sit and stream for hours she also need to put up a show as performer, mainly dancing and singing and it could takes a lot times of practicing... When Area 15 went to Japan for 3D debut moona said that 3/4 of her days in Japan were spent for practicing and producing music / mo capping, which is a hard task for healthy person and challenging task for someone with a back problem.
Hearing all this just makes me feel bad for the girl. It seemed like she was just cursed from the very start. It’s like that one saying: Why do bad things happen to good people?” She still is one of my favorite members from HoloCouncil and it’s a shame that we’ll never see her stream again as Sana. I miss her. I hope she’s doing well.
Is literally a combination of both. Literally she is a VERY VERY VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY well known gacha game artist and very requested as well (AHEM -Arknights- AHEM) . So i think its more business than anything else by the end of the day. SO ... saying is because of the back issue was more of a fail safe than anything. I won't blame her, because I'm an artist too, so she took more the Vtuber as a side job instead. Its sad because her presence was more of an emotional support for someone who is also an artist inside and probably the person who got her into this (in other words Ina).
I just don’t like speculating because it’s so hard to know what someone is going through My friend was upset at our roommate for being unfriendly in recent months but only when talking to the latter she confided in me that she had a miscarriage and was going through the grieving process Online creators tell us a lot but there’s so much that we’ll never know and I think saying anything definitely is a bit rude to the creators we want to support…
She went through alot and I wish her the best. She was the one who pushed me into the vtubering scene. She had a big heart and always cared for her other members. Unfortunately I joined the satellites a month before she announced her graduation. My knowledge is limited but thank you for the video and effort you put into it.
I think people dismiss the Health thing too much at times when it comes to theories. Consider that in Hololive there is an expectation for things like concerts. Even the less musically inclined are going to have to get on a stage at some point. Now imagine having to spend weeks practicing dancing while having a dehibilitating injury. I do believe in the end it was a mix of both but the physical demands of being a holo talent can't be overlooked
Inasanity was a fun collab between my two oshis sana has a special place in my heart, her bubbly personality, how kind she was with her genmates and friends, the fun banter with ina and destroy her pokemon as child. she really was one of a kind, but she suffer so damn much that it did took a toll on her mental health before the last nail. during her troubles she still push forward to give sanalites content. sana'a endurance one sitting games was insane, she'll go for 12+ hours to finish kirby, shining farming, zatsus and minecraft. she really goes hard and will always wake up her still playing kirby or pokemon. then when her injury happen you see a huge dip of her endurance, her space has small snippets of enduring pain while being drugged out on pain killers. it really suck because it left her giving her a choice she has to do. is to leave hololive, because even she did stay her back will be a main issue to do any physical activity. and knowing outside of Vtubing, she's a very popular contract artist that done work on gacha games along with ina it hurt to see that graduation video announcement but knowing the situation i want the best for her. i was sad seeing her go but i want her to be well. which was lovely she gave departure gifts for Conucilrys BeegSmol avatars that she work for, the creation of Bloom and Gloom mascot for iyrs, the plushie designs, pre-recorded videos for birthdays, some merch and a final goodbye letter to everyone in minecraft along the items she cherish before her departure. i know people will always praise coco for being a beacon for EN but sana really left a beeg legacy that folks found out late. she's really one of a kind person who will be miss Sana is Eternal
One thing to also note is, despite Sana not really being able to keep up consistently uploading for at least a year to get started, Cover still tried their best to keep her on, according to Cover's official statement. They really did try their best to support her. I have nothing but absolute respect to Sana for deciding to move on to different ventures. If it was a back injury, her career as an artist, or a mixture of the two that made her decide to leave, what matters is, her decision was an extremely tough choice. And she didn't shy away from it. If only things had turned out different. She was slept on by the Vtuber community so much, man... Great video. Very respectful to her and lays down all the facts. It's all we could ask for.
I remember when she released her original song, to me at the moment meant that she had/would overcome all her problems because she was not alone against them, when she announced her graduation I saw the song for what it probably truly was, a goodbye and appreciation for her fans. Haven't cried in years, but it still hurts to hear that song
i recently got into the vtuber rabbithole with the debuts of holo en advent, just wanna say i really appreciated your work on your videos to bring me up to speed on the scene :)
I miss her. She was the only dark skinned corporate model I’d seen at the time, and it was inspiring to me. She was only the only VTuber I’d watch somewhat consistently and could call myself a fan of. Things have been different without her, especially when at the time I kind of needed her most, knowing her boss was there and that she was trying her best despite all the hardships thrown at her still kept my head up. I still support her in her uh, alter life, but differentiating isn’t really hard and her artwork is beautiful 💕 I’m so glad she was apart of Hololive, even if it wasn’t very long 💛
I dont dislike vtubers but the 2 I really ever got super into were Pomu and Sana and now they're both gone I just really enjoyed their positivity and bubbly attitudes they were so refreshing I wish them both the best in whatever they choose to do
As someone who has issue with severe backpain, that shit is real. That backpain really prevents you from sitting too long and if you force yourself, it really feels like your backbone being torn apart. It hurts so much I have to take a full week off from my work and not being able to sit for over than 30 seconds. So yeah, I can sympathize with Sana if she actually has that, and I support her decision to graduate because if she continues, it would become a torture for hee. I do hope her condition gets better.
i wasnt much of a sana fan, not that i disliked her or anything but i never seen much of her content. alot of her videos were minecraft or pokemon, both games that never really manage to keep me interested regardless of the content creator, so i couldnt really watch much archive streams or even fan made highlights. however after she announced her graduation is when i started watching, she did collabs with the new generations ( my personal favourite was the one with kobo on power washer sim) and her gen-mates. knowing that it was going to end you can see how much effort she put into making sure her graduation will be remembered and that everyones last moments of her werent sad but moments of fun and laughter, which i feel helps describe sanas personality pretty well. Let's Sananana Together
While I did sort of follow Gura, it was Sana who drew me fully into Hololive, for all of the reasons you listed (especially due to her Pokémon streams), and it was really distressing when she had to go on break for the back injury (especially as I've been in a similar situation, and I can attest to it affecting the ability to stream). I'm not particularly expressive with my emotions, but Sana's graduation had even me in tears, so you can imagine how the rest of us Sanallites felt... it's still difficult to think about, but at least I know she's doing as well as she can, from what Calli and others have mentioned, and honestly, that's enough for me. At least Game Freak honored her by introducing Fidough as a new Pokémon for Scarlet/Violet; I know she would have been incredibly happy to capture it (and I'd be willing to bet that it would be a permanent member of her team).
Sana was always my favorite design in council. It's a shame, but I think she came to the conclusion that streaming as a job in a corporate environment just wasn't for her. That and a mix between health issues + wanting to focus more on her art career.
yeah im pretty sure its not a health issue cause she can just take a break for alot of months like what happen to hachaama she did have a break and didnt stream for 8 months and you know Cover will probably accept that. The big reason is definitely not wanting to stream
I sincerely hope you are here to fill the hole that Depressed Nousagi left. Even if you're not some VTuber scholar, videos like this go a long way for fans who don't have any friends who also share this interest. There's definitely a niche to fill here! I also appreciate your lack of drama-bait, etc. P.s. TheOtakuAdvisor deserves a mention. Hes does a similar thing but with very high production values. Severely underrated channel. Subscribed!
I loved watching Sana, she was that very interesting girl who I could listen to for literal hours just talking about whatever. Whenever she streamed I was at work, so I just put on my earbuds and listened to her talking for the whole day. Listening to her made my work life easier to bear, and the 8 full hours seemed go by quick whenever I had her streams on. I was really sad that she had to leave but as it was her choice, we had to respect it. I also follow her other account, so it's a nice way of still having her around even if it's in a different form, though I still miss her talking
She truly seemed a sweetheart and its a shame that she was gone so soon. I remember how I got into vtubers this year and me getting into council was around the time she announced graduation.
Theory 2 is the real situation; if you put your fan feelings aside and analyze Sana's activities in the last few weeks before her graduation, you'll see that theory 1 doesn't make sense.
I think it was not only her career but probably also some restrictions on Covers part. At least two of the games she was really passionate about she could not stream. Then after her graduation she streamed one of the games, but the other one was also known since it was streamed during one of her breaks which got her some haters. So, personally I think all three. Medical issues made it difficult to manage both Hololive and her main career and she also to some extent felt discouraged by the restrictions on Covercorp's side.
@@tomaO2 as far as i know, she is working as an artist. I doubt she will ever be a vtuber again, that would be bad for her image considering the reason she gave the public to graduate as Sana.
@@deivitcosta3852 I don't understand why 24h-gaming said she streamed a game that she wasn't allowed to stream then. That made it sound like she went right back into the streaming market again.
I can't relate to the people complaining about her model. Looks beautifully happy and cute to me, like a ray of sunshine in a cloudy day. What I can relate to are health issues with plenty of pain in it, as someone who scored a rheumatism at 30. I hope with all my heart that she has recovered well from her back issues and is doing great in her artist career.
I mostly like sanas model but there’s something about it that slips it just barely inside the uncanny valley for me. It’s not something that I couldn’t get used to, but it would push me away at first.
I feel Ashamed that didn't get in to her until later. It really hurts that she had to graduate... I just wish she had been able to go to to the fes with her genmates.
I think, "She probably could have succeeded if she had continued streaming," is a misguided way of putting it. She did succeed, even being the least successful of Council is still being galaxies ahead of what most vtubers could ever achieve. Good video otherwise.
Sana was someone I don’t expect to check first. There are dedicated clippers (especially HoloCeumbs) that are really dedicated to Sana and made the clips enjoyable enough to follow the talent... Of course, it’s too late for me. I’m not even a Sanalite, but I somehow cried. She’s a kind person, maybe the kindest in the whole wide world, and she deserves better things. Graduating is for the best, especially with her back and general health reasons. I’m glad that her legacy through art (and merch) and these little enamel pins live on. Astro Girl (song) is a sweet banger too! ✨
I do quite enjoy your videos. The way you introduce us to the topic and talk about everything in a calm manner is amazing. Please continue with the great work
Great vid, dude. Personally, I loved her design, to me, she was unique. I love all of the EN girls but Sana quickly became something special to me, her bubbly personality and laughter used to cheer me up during the darkest of days. Her graduation hit hard, probably more than I’m willing to admit, and even now, months later, I miss her so much. But I makes me happy to see that she still gets love from the community, and as one of her ”Sanallites”, I’m proud and happy that I was able to be there, to support her through her journey. I’m glad you took your time to explain her situation in an informative and respectful way for those who didn’t know about her situation. Well done. Sana is ETERNAL!
Back injury is a serious problem. Apparently (courtesy of those who already have it), it seems that it doesn't really go away and would still inflict pain long after the treatment. So depending on the severity of the "injury" and her doctor explanation, it won't be far-fetched for her to think that graduation is the best option (Rather than keep streaming with uncertainty when the pain would come back and how many times she would have to take a break).
Her design was "under tuned"...? In a world with filled with modern anime designs with excessive design clutter, simplicity should be a major compliment!
On the back injury issue, I think a lot of people don't understand how bad that kind of pain can get. I had a back injury about two years ago that killed my career. I was in so much pain that getting to work and sitting in that chair was pretty much what I could do most days. Even sitting down was constant pain. Imagine that. You can't get respite sitting in your damn chair. I needed two surgeries and two years of exercise to get back to something you might call normal. I was fired because I was a contractor.
I've seen this pop up in my feed now and then, and kinda didn't wanted to click. Didn't wanted to relive old hurts. I watched her a lot, whenever I could. It sounds stupid and bullshitty, but after a while I got the feeling that I wanted to watch as much as possible of her streams, especially after her hiatuses. Glad I did. You know the animation of the Sanallite, the breaddog, in her final stream? It hit WAY harder than I ever thought it would. Being in a cold, dark house, knowing the owner is gone forever, seeing the message, and then desperately trying to run after her. That's us, the Sanallites. Wherever she is, I hope she is doing well in her life. Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened.
I'm just glad that in the documentation of her career, people are supportive of her and the person behind her. I've seen so much fan negativity that fan positivity on that front is both comforting and refreshing.
Damn I still remember when I got the notification to the ''I have something to say'' RUclips video, I have held something that I only can describe as communal trauma everything a RUclips announces something since then Hope she is doing better now, her desing was actually my favorite among council next to Kronnis and I wished we could have heard her sing heavy metal
Ngl, even if health problem was a big “contribution” still got feeling that it wasn’t main decision factor. Imho, after some time, when wave of enthusiasm ends a lot of talents go trough “why i subjected myself to this voluntarily” moment. And sudden major health problem is quite a precursor to rearranging priorities. When one have other options and Vtube isn’t main income source - bailing out must be tempting option. People forget that “everyone so nice to each other” and “company is so friendly”(it really really isn’t) are completely superficial things. If anything it must be not much better than your usual idol/pop groups, it just we didn’t had any major scandalous leaks, yet. Rushia, Coco, Aloe were relatively minor problems, which although already speak volumes on how troublesome work with Cover is. Won’t be surprised if Ina quits, sometimes it feels like Gura can eventually snap. Imho, design debacle was a bit superficial, because many people rated not designs themselves, but deigns in conjunction with personalities/voices of streamers and their own first impressions. And Sana’s introduction was, well, too weird for many people. Kroni’s model is no less disaster, but seductive tone did its thing and since no one pays attention to face and body proportions when boing boings are on screen - many went 10/10 with it. All things aside - thanks for content. And must say Sana was precious and i wish her all good in this world. One of two vtubers which really got me good.(Together with Lulu, who also quit >_>).
I miss Sana :( I don't know why but I like Sana's face... Maybe it looks weird compared to the usual "cute" anime style? Hope she's happier in Space, watching over us from up there
I felt like I was not ready to watch it. But I just had to watch it because I subbed to Sana exactly at the graduation announcement and tried to tune in at one of the collab streams with an ID member (i forgot) and Kronii, plus I wanna know a little more. Overall though, I’m doing my best to watch it. Also the clips from HoloCrumb helped me get introduced to what it’s like and her exclaiming “Terrible!” towards Vegemite or that Macca’s goof up makes me smile. When Axel hated Vegemite like Sana where he believed it’s crap disguised as paste, I just had to picture all three HoloAussies share their thoughts about Aussie snacks and rank them. Oh, imagine the possibilities. Part of me also thinks a HoloNIJI w/ NijiAU and HoloAU would be wild but that will forever be a dream and that’s okay.
As a fellow Sanalite watching this made me cry because you’re not wrong, she went through tons of struggle and I hate to admit it but when she had to take tons of breaks I was one of the fellow Sanalite’s who was upset at the fact that she didn’t stream so often… Until her announcement, ever since then I keep telling myself after her graduation “I had it good and I wish I knew that before it was all gone…” I miss you Sana… I hope the path you’re taking in life leads you to happiness. 😢❤
Whatever the reason, I feel for all the bread dogs. I really do. Since that time Coco kaichou graduated, that white background thumbnail always bring out PTSD. All of us dreaded the day our talent graduate. It's a morbid fear for bread dogs to be the first to feel it was just...cruel Sana is eternal. Dear all Sanalites out there, we always have a seat in KFP. You're always welcome.
Small company and independent vtubers would do anything to have her six digit subscriber count and success. Sana did well for herself. Good luck to her in her art career.
I always hated when people say no one even watched her No 2 subscribers and 0 views is no one watching you She had so many sanallites who loved her dearly!
She doesn't need to prove anything. Fans know what she could've been- whatever that means to them. Her personality and warm spirit were an unbeatable formula for success. Life doesn't always cooperate. I dont think we'll ever uncover every answer regarding her graduation, but inconsequential now. We know how amazing she was and we get to keep those memories forever.
I agree it was probably just a combination of those 2. Lots of stuff happen and it sucks. She could’ve bounced back but life often just keeps hitting you down and sometimes it feels like the best thing to do is just pivot to something else and I respect her decision for it, if I was hit so much with all that.
Just remember: she can still be found in arknights: she designed Mizuki and Goldenglow Also: about 6 months from now goldenglow, her daughter, is getting a major l2d skin!
No matter what happened. I still think it was sad that she graduated and all of her followers (I included) will miss her. If and when I decide to become a Vtuber I most likely will join Hololive and hopefully make her proud.
I feel for her, I have health issues myself that stop me doing a lot of things I want to, and there have been so many times I've had to 'flake' on commitments because my health has taken a bad turn, I know on many ways it stops me from growing the way I'd like and making new friends, and whilst I know it's not my fault on a theoretical level I still blame myself when I don't do something I've told someone I would do. I wouldn't be surprised if its similar for her, the mix of guilt at feeling she's not doing right by her fans with the reality that her breaks have stunted her growth meant for her it may have felt like this was the only option. But maybe I'm putting too much of my own feelings on her, I know that's not a great thing but I can't help but empathise, either way whilst I mostly only watch JP vtubers and didn't know her well she seemed genuinely nice and I hope she is doing well with whatever she's doing now, it was nice to see her get a good send-off.
even though we know people and believe them to be capable of succeeding at something life doesn't always go the way a person plans it to go. but like all the people before me we'll all wish her the best of luck on what ever she's up to now
I wish we could have gotten her to 1 million subs before she graduated. I hope she's doing well wherever she is in the universe.
Would have felt a little fucked up to have the lowest subs only to get a bunch when you graduate and it doesn’t really matter anymore
Having the least subs out of a group is a bad feeling for sure. Even if the creator is doing well, comparisons hurt.
Notice she have 99 videos, she never
Even reach 100.
Imagine her 100th video is her coming back for a Counsilrys 3D concert. Pne can dream.
@@NormanReaddis Her last "goodbye" stream was a 100th one (from those visible/non-members types), but for some reason, couple days after, that number was decreased to 99, like one of videos was deleted or hidden. Being a famous artist and back problems might be the main reason she graduated
That is the most likely reason yes.
Her and Ina have Big identities as their Professional Artist identities. Gorgeous art from both of them.
It's really both but the back problem was the major contribution. Streaming for an extended period was literally causing her physical pain.
I have no doubt Cover would have allowed her to stay just without Salary, a no pay leave of absence since it really wouldn't cost them anything, other talents have taken extended breaks too.

One of best parts about Sana is that you can tell she never really cared about numbers, but instead having a good time with her fans. Many would've given up way before she retired with how much it was thrown at her and yet she was smiling up until the last minute in this form. A true force of happiness for this world.
Same with Kaela and some holomems. "If what you only seek is just numbers, then go ask Mason or search for yourself in nhent*i."
@Nathan Goshawk I don’t think she was ever trying to be funnier than anyone else
Where she shined was her art review stream and the comment of “childlike wonder” is really accurate to me
Watching her play a new game or getting excited made me love her more and more until the end
I was sobbing like hell when she left. She was by far one of the kindest vtubers to have in holo. She will be missed so much and hopefully where ever she is, she’s enjoying her new passion.
As far as I can tell she seems like she is doing good and still enjoying being an artist
@@bstout2224 shes only making art now right?
@@user-6-9-4-2-0 If i'm correct, she also streams a lot of gacha games on her alternate channel
@@thuan8782 I haven't heard of her alt channel unfortunately
Great comment. I'm glad to hear she's doing better, too.
What back problems?
I have always disliked the hair. Though her other outfit she used a few times with a different hair style was honestly great
Sana is, and always will be Eternal o7
It's a shame, I liked most of her streams ( or should I say vods, cause I'm a eurobro), and she bounced off other holomems nicely
I wish her the best wherever she is, she's not alone!
If things had been slightly different, Sana probably would be as popular as the rest of Holocouncil.
honestly, I absolutely loved her collabs. She's an adept people person, and she made things so fun without even trying
@@AnimeFanFTW25 it wasn't much profitable to her... it's her life n she probab made a good decision I hope.
Alter ego?
@@dankishouseofmischief like many vtubers, sana also had an 'alter ego' outside of hololive. she's an artist and still is & is doing well :)
One could say universe hates her
I still have a tear in my eye every time I think about her graduation..
Wherever you are, Sana, we won't forget you :)
Sana is Beeg!!!!!!
It’s like that one saying: Why do bad things happen to good people?”
She still is one of my favorite members from HoloCouncil and it’s a shame that we’ll never see her stream again as Sana.
I was very shocked when I realized she was the artist who promoted Mizuki's armpits being soft
@@enashimo And Goldenglow as well. Also hates anyone who call her a "pig" (She is suppose to be a dog girl, but the ears also looks like a pig).
I just don’t like speculating because it’s so hard to know what someone is going through
My friend was upset at our roommate for being unfriendly in recent months but only when talking to the latter she confided in me that she had a miscarriage and was going through the grieving process
Online creators tell us a lot but there’s so much that we’ll never know and I think saying anything definitely is a bit rude to the creators we want to support…
Inasanity was a fun collab between my two oshis
sana has a special place in my heart, her bubbly personality, how kind she was with her genmates and friends, the fun banter with ina and destroy her pokemon as child. she really was one of a kind, but she suffer so damn much that it did took a toll on her mental health before the last nail. during her troubles she still push forward to give sanalites content.
sana'a endurance one sitting games was insane, she'll go for 12+ hours to finish kirby, shining farming, zatsus and minecraft. she really goes hard and will always wake up her still playing kirby or pokemon.
then when her injury happen you see a huge dip of her endurance, her space has small snippets of enduring pain while being drugged out on pain killers. it really suck because it left her giving her a choice she has to do. is to leave hololive, because even she did stay her back will be a main issue to do any physical activity. and knowing outside of Vtubing, she's a very popular contract artist that done work on gacha games along with ina
it hurt to see that graduation video announcement but knowing the situation i want the best for her. i was sad seeing her go but i want her to be well. which was lovely she gave departure gifts for Conucilrys BeegSmol avatars that she work for, the creation of Bloom and Gloom mascot for iyrs, the plushie designs, pre-recorded videos for birthdays, some merch and a final goodbye letter to everyone in minecraft along the items she cherish before her departure.
i know people will always praise coco for being a beacon for EN but sana really left a beeg legacy that folks found out late. she's really one of a kind person who will be miss
Sana is Eternal
Sana is eternal! Really miss her fun personality...
i recently got into the vtuber rabbithole with the debuts of holo en advent, just wanna say i really appreciated your work on your videos to bring me up to speed on the scene :)
I still support her in her uh, alter life, but differentiating isn’t really hard and her artwork is beautiful 💕 I’m so glad she was apart of Hololive, even if it wasn’t very long 💛
I dont dislike vtubers but the 2 I really ever got super into were Pomu and Sana and now they're both gone I just really enjoyed their positivity and bubbly attitudes they were so refreshing I wish them both the best in whatever they choose to do
they are both still doing yt
@@crazyfloofwhat are there names?
hey thank you so much, i really wanted to know what happened with sana, but i was scared to ask. keep it up
God i miss her
Let's all agree, Were gonna miss her BEEG time.
I miss Sana. I wish Hololive would let her collab once or twice a year. I can dream.
I like this video the most out of every video talking about her graduation. You took time to understand her fanbase and her content. Thank you !

Theory 1 was the most popular theory, from what I saw, leading up to her graduation, but yea theory 2 is much more likely.
What is Sana doing? Sounds like she started a new v-tuber model?
This was one really great case analysis. Keep up the good work!
It would have been really nice to see her roast her senpais and kouhais. She was definitely a very good roaster.
err guys, she's back :)
Was hooked after the first Celeste stream. Sana is Eternal, and the Bread Dogs will wait as Hachiko did.
After all, Snail’s House never ceased to amaze! (They were the ones that made the beat n stuff)
I do quite enjoy your videos. The way you introduce us to the topic and talk about everything in a calm manner is amazing. Please continue with the great work
Everytime i hear about Sana i get teary eyed, i miss her very much and wish her all the best. Shes never alone!
I miss beeg Sana
I like your videos! Please keep making more about Vtubers and their histories.
I loved Sanas design, im a big fan of Tenchi Muyo, her design looks like it was plucked from the Tenchi series.
I miss Sana, she was such a sweetheart. 😢
Her design was "under tuned"...? In a world with filled with modern anime designs with excessive design clutter, simplicity should be a major compliment!
i never watched holocouncil alot but i cried really hard when i watched the final animation 😭
It was pretty emotional.
I won’t lie. Sana’s departure hit pretty hard and as a takodachi I can sympathize with the Sanalites
From what I've seen, Sana had one of the most positive fanbases.
Damn I still remember when I got the notification to the ''I have something to say'' RUclips video, I have held something that I only can describe as communal trauma everything a RUclips announces something since then
Hope she is doing better now, her desing was actually my favorite among council next to Kronnis and I wished we could have heard her sing heavy metal
Her Vtubing career may have been short, but it was brightest. Best of wishes whatever she might be doing.
Stay strong! I’m a yuguy and sanallite
And I agree on it being superficial
Her New Years outfit is my favorite in hololive, so pretty and cute…
She was around for a short while but her impact still remains
This is an amazing analysis about Sana. Great work. You deserve a sub
I miss Sana :(
I don't know why but I like Sana's face...
keep up the good work we loving the work your doing

I love Sana's design because it looks SO 90's!!!
I liked her design....im sad she left. But it seems she left on her own terms and is doing well
Whatever the reason, I feel for all the bread dogs. I really do. Since that time Coco kaichou graduated, that white background thumbnail always bring out PTSD. All of us dreaded the day our talent graduate. It's a morbid fear for bread dogs to be the first to feel it was just...cruel
Sana is eternal. Dear all Sanalites out there, we always have a seat in KFP. You're always welcome.
We loving the work u doing hope u keep up with the good. Work👍👍👍❤❤❤
I liked her design, and her eccentric, charming character was endearing. I miss her.
Small company and independent vtubers would do anything to have her six digit subscriber count and success. Sana did well for herself. Good luck to her in her art career.
Oh absolutely. Her lack of success was relative to her fellow members only. I’d love to have the views she had.
I always hated when people say no one even watched her
No 2 subscribers and 0 views is no one watching you
She had so many sanallites who loved her dearly!
I’m glad she didn’t push herself and graduated on her own request. I just hope wherever she is, she is doing well
It will never not be annoying when people imply/ hint at her other account. Anyone who has has it wanna actuslly let us know and not dance around it?
Just remember: she can still be found in arknights: she designed Mizuki and Goldenglow
Also: about 6 months from now goldenglow, her daughter, is getting a major l2d skin!
I miss my oshi tails.
She deserved all of space but the universe works in very strange ways I guess.
I used to look at Sana as Ina of Holocouncil
I miss her. I miss all of them.
I really miss my Oshi
This hurt having to watch this again
its sad that sana was such a flop. If she wasn't so busy she would've been so much better
Ohh that sucks. I admit I did not really watch her streams until she was gone.
I didn’t either.
No matter what happened. I still think it was sad that she graduated and all of her followers (I included) will miss her. If and when I decide to become a Vtuber I most likely will join Hololive and hopefully make her proud.
Sana id say was arguably the sweetest of council followed by fauna, it's just unfortunate that ironically the cosmos was working against her.

She has an alternate channel but only has 3 videos of her voice and her playing chess. She sounds well but busy.

But maybe I'm putting too much of my own feelings on her, I know that's not a great thing but I can't help but empathise, either way whilst I mostly only watch JP vtubers and didn't know her well she seemed genuinely nice and I hope she is doing well with whatever she's doing now, it was nice to see her get a good send-off.
kinda late.. but how the fick people hates her adorable BEEG accent:( i love her accents the most alongside bae:(
I admire her charm, and she is so supportive, tho indeed i dont like her avatar so much but het personality cover it all
even though we know people and believe them to be capable of succeeding at something life doesn't always go the way a person plans it to go. but like all the people before me we'll all wish her the best of luck on what ever she's up to now
Calling at a graduation is sad It's just another phrase and word for never going to see again
