  • This is the teardown video of the JBL TUNE750BTnc wireless Bluetooth headphones. We are taking a look inside and show you exactly how to open these headphones while keeping them intact and still being able to use them afterwards.
The left ear cup holds the battery. The right ear cup contains the major PCB, with the micro-USB charging port, the button switches and the four LEDs.

I was about to disassemble my JBLs because my battery would stop charging after 30 seconds. Apparently, watching the video next to my headphones scared them enough to work again, so thank you for that 😂

For anyone having the problem where the headset no longer turns on but works via wired, just teardown the small part of the left earcup, inside is the battery as shown in 2:21 and then just make sure the big wire is properly connected and fully in there, then it should work.

Thank you! I've solved a tiny broken part making noise on every step when walking because I knew how to open it up. I found this video when searching for JBL 760NC. it wasn't the first result so you may want to add it in the tags.

I bought a pair of these phones just yesterday, October 20, '20. With a special senior citizen's discount the price dropped from NZ$239 down to NZ156. I have only used the phones off and on over 24 hour, so far. Based on price and quality I rate these, my first BT, phones highly. However, watching you "disassemble" the phones was somewhat akin to watching a surgeon taking out my appendix and providing a commentary as he did so.
It is an interesting video despite my wincing as you proceeded with the stripdown. Now I know what's under da hood. Thanks.

THIS FIXED MY HEADPHONES THAT WOULDN'T CHARGE THANK YOU! If your headphones won't charge and the charging light only stays on for a couple of seconds before shutting off I'd recommend opening up the battery department and replug the battery, as there's a high likelyhood that the battery cable got a little loose and just needs a bit of motivation^^

Dang it mine just broke today i was about to drop them and then bluetooth pairing mode stopped working. So i ofc did the manly thing and decided to take them apart. Anyway turned out it was the on and off button that had come loose i got it to work with it placed with a tweezer but sadly the repair failed because the connectors snapped off. But taking them apart was a breeze thanks to your video :) they lasted about 3 years and i have been using them probably 16 hour a day almost every day. and other than a stupid bluetooth adapter in my pc they have been working almost flawlessly so i think i got my money's worth

Thanks to you I didn't break these headphones! White cable has desoldered in my headphones - responsible for minus audio signal to the left earphone. The damage was probably caused by a fall to the floor. The quality of the solder joints is dramatic + lead free tin - shame on JBL!

When you feel comfortable with it, you could try to disassemble the ear up and check what is making them stuck.
There might be some dirt in there that prevents the button from moving freely.
