Let There Be Peace on Earth - Rev. Barb Adams - November 10, 2024

Reflecting on the volatile comments that continue to be shared in the public square, online, and at family gatherings, I am aware of the spewing animosity and the havoc that it can wreak in relationships, including families. Having vivid images of the events of January 6, 2021, the title and content of this week’s lesson seemed like a no-brainer.
Prior to Sunday, I invite you to contemplate these questions:
• What would “peace on earth” look like? Sound like?
• What part am I called to play in helping make “peace on earth” a reality?
• What am I willing to do on a continuing basis to help establish and maintain peace?
• What parts might I now be playing that are adding to the illusion of separation rather than the awareness of oneness?
• How am I expressing my spiritual beliefs to help bring about peace?
• Which of the Unity Principles address these questions?
So, here we go: Recommitting to walking-the-talk? Or making a conscious decision to veer away from the Principles and join in the rancor?
