  • This community training video is part of an SWM Programme toolkit on human-wildlife-conflict (HWC). It shows how a participatory mapping game with rural communities in Southern Africa can be used to reduce HWC. It was developed in Zimbabwe and is being widely used by Farmer Field Schools.
The SWM Programme is an international initiative funded by the European Union, with co-funding from the French Facility for Global Environment and the French Development Agency. It is being implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), the Centre for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
