Every little bit helps. An Electrician isn't necessarily an expert, but just a practiced, confident user of Electrical Knowledge (not to mention some industry standard stuff).
In my time on youtube I learned so much more on electrical stuff than in the 7 years of school that we had "electrotechnics" scheduled (I got trained as an IT technician). I don't really care much for the conservative approach on teaching people anymore because of that ;) Everyone is different and one teacher can just not find the perfect way to bang his knowledge into each of his 22 students. jodelboy I know exactly how you feel. Since the end of High School and a few years of Community College, I've taught myself much more in my free time just using the Internet. I've also never had the opportunity to experiment or practice my skills when I was a child, so I agree that Public School should NOT be mandatory.

Reverse is based on if the currents flow or not. If it flows it's forward, and reverse does not have flowing current.
