I am sooooooo glad I switched to swim teaching way before this pandemic. Online learning sounds super hard. Thankfully there’s not a lot you can do teaching swimming by remote learning. Adds a PSA: kids may have gone backwards with their skills from lack of practice. Please watch your kids carefully in and around water and don’t assume they’ve still got their skills as they might not have. Always be within arms reach until you’ve reassessed them. Remember active watching is not looking up from a phone/tablet/book/conversation every few minutes. Happy summer to all 💕

Victorian here, 250-whatever days it’s been of homeschooling, totally understandable, did grade 6 and now yr 7 and I haven’t even got to know anyone at my high school, I wish it would end,
I home educated for a number of years and staying at home for it is not home education, we were out and about for nature education or at museums and the zoo. So I do feel for parents at home during this lockdown period
