There’s a little surprise at the end of the movie ;) (07:53:56, don't watch it if you haven't seen the other episodes first lol) LIST OF IMPORTANT ALTERATIONS FROM THE ORIGINAL EPISODES Praeludium(Episode 1)-2nd song was changed from No Time for Caution to The Dark Age by Secession Studios to avoid copyright Tumultuari(Episode 2)-1st song was changed from the Last Immortal by Audiomachine to We Made this War by Immediate Music and the 3rd song was changed from the Cherubic Hymn to the Litany of the Saints to avoid copyright Interitum (Episode 7)-the 9th song was changed from the Hill House by Audiomachine to All That We Are by Audiomachine
The little surprise was instead a... great surprise. It has left me not crying, but at least with a lump in my throat. The words of affection and forgiveness between these two good people deceived by the Evil. The torment, which afflicts Peter II in particular, that the Evil is now seemingly "in charge" because of being shortsighted. And yet the willingness and faith to leave everything in the hands of the Almighty. Thank you Kaiser. We needed this (at least, I needed it). Let me write down what once St. Augustine said: "the forgiveness of the Lord... that nobody can measure."
@@maxdepasquale2351 I'm glad you enjoyed the final scene. I did feel that the best way to give Nova Regna an epilogue of sorts was to bring closure between Martino and Caccia, since they did not leave off on good terms. Now the fate of the Church is unknown, but surely someone will try and do something, right?
@@ZeKaiserVG Well, the soul of Martino has been clear I reckon... "let me show you how that demon will be slaughtered" or something like that. So, now we know the end. One question, which I put down to my usual bad memory. Even Martino regrets the fact that he should have recognized the Evil among them, rather than unleashing his rage against Pope Peter II. But what might he have realized? It's not that Woelki was supporting Peter II above anything else, or secretly prodding him... P.S. As a definition, "enjoyed" that scene falls short. I "loved it" is more appropriate.
@@maxdepasquale2351 It's all in retrospect, but he knew little of the situation since Woelki and Hollerich mainly kept to themselves. As would anyone after a revelation like this, he wishes he could have done something, but as you said, there was little he could have done, especially given his age at the time.
@@ZeKaiserVG Besides, thanks for beautiful score played then, and the wonderfully poetic expression "Pearly gates". Also, even though you are not Catholic, you depicted a Pope and a cardinal in such respectful ways (Well, the real Reiner Woelki may have something to say...:-) ). I much appreciate it. In Catholicism, St. Peter is often thought to stand at the entrance of Heaven, welcoming the souls in there and exchanging a few words with them. I wonder what St. Peter would discuss with the two, and what he would have told the one who took his name 😀
@@maxdepasquale2351 True, that would be an interesting exchange wouldn't it? I envision the scene as the gates being open while Martino stands there ready to greet Caccia when he enters Heaven. St. Peter could have greeted him afterwards, or watched from close by
@@TriggeredExplosion True, part of the reason why I made this, is that I wanted to create something akin to series I've rewatched before like Varna or Imperial's AHOE, since you can only rewatch them so many times, I felt I might as well create something
@@TriggeredExplosion Additionally, I wanted to make it distinct from other series that had way too much overhumanization, or 100 characters that was just insane like Astral's and Denia's, delivering a plot that I find satisfying, whilst not devolving into madness
