Nowadays he changes the way he sees armwrestling. Especially outside techniques, now he supinates/kicks back his wrists at the start of the grip so that the opponent doesnt get a good grip and for establishing better rise
Devon does all of these little things during a match, and it's exhausting for his opponents. He stops their hit, does all the little things to gain control of their hand, and systematically wears them out. If he fully recovers from his surgery, and regains #1 on the right hand, he will reign for a long time. The best Devon Larratt would have beaten the best Alexey Voevoda in a super-match format.
@Cezar Nebun When is this "just saying" fad over? Do people like to make a dumb comment and disavow it immediately? If you think through it, it would be impossible to regulate / enforce zero body movement. (Obviously, it's not cheating for the "sport" they are competing.)
what the actual....leaning onto the other dudes body...something aint righ their.... 2/5 smart assed wrestling 15 minute what the actuall did I just do? penalty.
love the fist bump sound at the end... and love hearing it explained by Mr. Larratt!
HAHAHAHAH ya it was funny as hell
Holy shit, I finally understand an arm wrestling concept. Larratt is a genius teacher.

Close but no cigar. Still a legend
this comment aged well.
Definitely some of my favorite advice ever received for this style of arm wrestling.
I have watched all of Devon’s videos, especially about training and the way he explains the set up on this one is the best
knowledge is power , No said the king - power is power

Fascinating
indeed!
By the thumbnail it looks like devon training wing chun / martial arts.
Haha. I think the same
surprised there was no mention of the can opener here, that is the best technique
A can opener is pronating through a deep hook. This video is speaking strictly about the setup.
Devons voice when he is only on gh :)
He more handsome than actor Hollywood... And he is Superman... 😁
He looked and sounded like a boy compared to today.
This may have been filmed a few years before 2012?

this is the technique used while in his latest match with John! Especially in that first round

make a video on top roll.
if he can arm curl 187 Lb, not much technique is required

Is this still accurate and most efficient way in 2019?
