How to spot fake Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme perfume
The box is different, the original box is black, in time the fake one is with silver ribbons.
The nozzle of the push button differs.
The inside of the lid differs, the fake one has a huge hole in the circle.
The label on the bottom of the bottle differs.

Nobody realized the “Fake” is actually how the first editions from 2009 look like, it had all those differences and it’s actually the best one
For a moment I was really concerned about the one I just got. I remember seeing another video explaining that bottles are usually made from a single glass piece, meaning there are no lines separating the bottle at any point. So I freaked out a bit after noticing my bottle had a line, but later I read that not all bottles are made this way (usually more expensive ones are). So I came to look for a video showcasing the differences, and now I'm relieved that my product has all the marks of a original.

Sadly even the originals today pale in comparison to the ones that were first released. I owned it back then and it was just wow! Now, it's mediocre, at best. I still keep the empty flask back from 2009 and it still smell strong, just by lifting the cap. The new one I got from the very same store just doesn't seem right. I heard they (YSL) re-did it at some point, which would explain the huge difference. Also, the empty bottle from 2009 now smells stronger than the full bottle I bought, and only after few months. Something's definitely wrong with the design of this.
@@alanpotter8680 Agreed. I've neved owned the original version, but had the chance to smell it a couple of years before from a relative and was the main reason I decied to get it. I knew it wasn't going to have the same power but, the essence is somewhat there and unfortunately, while you might find another perfume with similar notes, it is still the closest to the original.
Mine is almost exactly the same as the original you have just showed in the video except the bottle cap, it's hollow as the fake one... I'm confused 🤔🤔
Well, on a famous and trustworthy company here in brazil, the box of La nuit de L'homme has the stripes. Are you sure it ain't a different kind of box? Because La Nuit de L'homme has been reformulated, maybe it also changed boxes.

hello! i have a question. what if the batch code on the box and the bottle dont match, but when you check both batch codes online for authenticity, the product still shows up but they have different manufacturing dates? also instead of a barcode on the side of the box, a qr code is there... although, there is a bar code on the back of the box and when you scan it, la nuit de l'homme shows up. I'm a bit confused since i heard ysl changed their boxes a couple of times too. other than that, everything else checks out besides those things.
if the serial number on the bottom of the bottle is not identical to the serial number on the bottom of the box... it is a fake ... no such big brand will make such a huge mistake ... with online verification it is not reliable ... now everyone can put a serial number on the bottle or box ... that does not make it original ... the elements are different for sure... the weight of the cap... of the bottle... the logo must be perfect, without smears or extra paint.... interior push button….

Hey everyone , i was crazy busy for a while and didn't have time to go to my trusted stores where i mostly get mines from sephora or Macy's (if they are trusted enough) but this week i had to check ebay and saw exactly the same fake bottle online for 85 bucks so please guys save 30 dollars more and get it from trusted stores. I didn't order that fake one, and I'm glad i watched this video, then drove to sephora and got my nice cologne.

I bought 2 x times more expensive but the real one, thanks every detail is matching as real one. Very usefull video, i never think that to detect real one you need to pay attention to smallest details like color of niple

You're comparing a vintage box (2010) to the latest box design which isn't an accurate or a fair comparison. However the fake vintage @4:46 doesn't have punched in batch number on the left side plus the line patterns are uneven which confirm it is a fake vintage.
It is not my fault that those who produce the fake did not release a model like at present.

Thanks some of this is similar to the Blue Electrique flanker making me pretty sure I have a real one looking at things like the lid for example. The boxes will be interesting to see the difference though 😊
