It's been 4 years and I'm still using K20 pro and I gotta say this I've never seen a Redmi phone so powerful and value for money and now also I use it for almost everything, I play BGMI at extreme, shoot 60fps videos and sometime 4k 60fps, edit and render as well. And I am never disappointed. I love my phone.
And I still remember when the phone got launched starting at 27,999 but due to festive offers of Dushera I got it for 24,000. So it got even more beneficial.🙌

Absolutely. Best bang for the buck phone i've purchased and i'm not exaggerating. I've been using Xiaomi devices since the Redmi 1s and I'm using the K20 Pro as well currently, top of the line chip with good enough features, i do wished that they kept going with the pop up camera to be quite honest. I love how my phone didn't have any camera holes or notches. under display finger print is a bit slow compared to newer ultrasonics, but never misses on my end. The only service i've had to do is change the BP40 battery recently. 100% best value phone even though I didn't know that when I bought it. Survived the hardest drops and minor splashes as well! If only the K series kept consistent with ANY particular style.
For custom ROMs, i've used the MIUI ORI by rukia-san but had to go back to the latest global recently. The amount of support raphaelin gets makes this phone an absolute banger.
I've promised myself to use this phone at least until March 2024 which makes it a 4 year old phone by that point. Would probably give it to one of my nieces after since it still is quite a good performer.

Same here. Still using my Redmi k20 pro. I did change my battery recently as well. And I've been thinking of either buying a pre-owned s23 ultra or this Redmi k70 pro. Still undecided but I do wish the k70 pro had ip68 rating and wireless charging. The low fingerprint scanner positioning also discourages me. Finally, Redmi should bring back our pop up camera in k80 pro

Yeah. Back then was pretty well priced too. Now it seems that everything is like .5x it's price. Still a good phone just software support is finally over. Though you could still add 2 years more without any hiccups.

I still have the k20 pro lying around after I switched last year. bought an iphone 13 which i got rid in 5 months, then got myself a s23 ultra which is my daily now. The k20 pro served as a great phone throughout my college life, never letting me down ever. Best flagship kilter at the time

I had a k20 and loved it but my biggest problem was that it didn't have the right antennas for where I live and I wasn't getting a lot of my calls. It was able to make them and sound good just not receive them. I'd love to get the k70 but I doubt they fixed the antenna problem seeing that they are not marketed for my country. Other than not receiving calls the k20 was a solid phone for everything else.

Everything works wonderfully, and thanks to a battery replacement a few months ago, I now get a screen-on time of 6 hours or more during normal usage. • @moncef2466
    @moncef2466 11 месяцев назад +4

No, a phone that charges at 120W over its USB-C port would definitely not be using the USB 2.0 standard. There are a few reasons why:
USB 2.0 only supports up to 2.5W for device charging. So 120W charging requires a different USB standard.
The 120W power delivery indicates use of modern USB Power Delivery technology and specifications. These were not introduced until later USB versions like USB 3.1 and USB Type-C.
High wattage fast charging requires capabilities that only exist in newer USB protocols - like bi-directional data transmission, higher voltages, and flexible power negotiation. USB 2.0 lacks these capabilities.
A phone fast charging at over 100W generates significant heat, so it necessitates the thicker, more robust Type-C cable design to safely handle the power flows. The older USB 2.0 Type-A connector and thin cable would pose signal integrity and fire safety risks at 120W.
In summary, while you can still find both fast and slow charging devices with a USB-C connector, if a phone is able to charge at 120W, you can be certain it is leveraging much more recent and advanced USB capabilities than the old USB 2.0 specification. The power delivery wattage alone requires adherence to modern standards released in the last several years.

The 4000 nits is probably on a 5 or 10% window. If that is true and it can do 4000 nits on a 10% window then that would be sick. Cuz in most well graded movies, the brightest parts are only specular highlights and they don't take over the entire screen. So the impact of the specular highlights is fantastic.

    Hi Ash!
As a psychologist, i would want to give you a kind suggestion if you're reading this :
Please don't be over expressive with almost each and every word you say. Please give it a break.
Expressions need to be subtle and not too breezy for everyone's liking.
Your views don't do justice to your number of subscribers and i think it can be one issue.
I hope you give it a thought :)

I intend to correct the error about the white color variant, which in case of both, K70 and K70 PRO has the same unique frosted shade changing depending on light contact back panel in both, black and also white version, so no, white SKU certainly hasn't completely plain glossy back panel as you've said "regular" as K70E has, so you should correct it. On the contrary I appreciate your knowledge concerning display manufacturer in case of this review and also the IQOO 12, even though in the official Mi website is explicitly written that K70 and K70 PRO have displays jointly developed with TCL&Redmi, so it seems to be another erroneous information. From which source exactly do you have it please? And the last error I've found for now, is the one regarding 3DMark benchmark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test stability score, it's not highest on K70 PRO, this one had 71,3 in this review, but IQOO 12 had 72,3 in your review of the phone. I like your videos, especially on Nubia Z50, but they would have been better without the aforementioned errors. Peace ✌🏻
